About the Kidde SL177i Dual Mode Strobe Light for the Hearing Impaired The Kidde SL177i hardwired interconnectable dual strobe light is an advanced solution for communicating alarms for the hearing impaired. By incorporating the strobe into any circuit containing Kidde alarms, you can amplify the warning of any single alarm by utilizing the strobersquo;s effect. The Kidde SL177i can support up to 24 other Kidde devices in a circuit at any time. Easily installed and highly compatible, the Kidde SL177i functions with Kidde CO alarms, heat detectors and smoke alarms. When a heat detector or smoke alarm is triggered, the Kidde SL177i will provide a bright, steady flash to warn about a dangerous situation.
