Rockford Fosgate P300X2 Punch 300 Watt 2-Channel Amplifier

Got this amp to push a set of focal separates as well as a set of Polk 6x9 speakers. The amp is extremely clear and has plenty of power to do the job, it also feels very sturdy and has a good build quality. The amp is running in 2 ohm and has shown no signs of overheating even after being pushed hard for a while. I am extremely happy with the purchase and will be purchasing another Rockford amp to push my 4 kicker 12's

Wowzers!!! This amp is a class all of its own! I had read many reviews that were 70/30 good to bad with overheating issues etc. I have had fosgate amps before, about 20+ yrs ago good then and just as AWESOME now. I have it powering 2 Rockford Fosgate Punch P1S4-15" woofers and OMG!!! The BASS this thing hits with is phenomenal...........so much better than my old 12" This sounds way better than the class D amps as it's a class ab and has the full frequency range so that i am able to use it on a wider range of speakers, has 2 channels and i didn't even need to bridge it also PLENTY of room left on the gain too!!! Also just FYI it's always better to have the extra juice to avoid trying to push the amp too hard and clip the signal/blow your speaker(s). This amp is one of the best i have ever owned and the boxes are sealed so i use a little more juice than a ported box of the same speaker size and no heat issues yet and worst case just install a fan from a computer.....

I installed this amp along with a LC2i LO converter in my 2013 Ford Mustang convertible with the premium Shaker system. This is one of the best amps I have ever owned. For three days we thought it was bad because the install tech had accidentally wired a 12v signal from the ignition to the left speaker input causing a wicked hum and ground loop. Once I figured out the problem and wired the amp correctly, it performs beautifully. Very happy with the product and with CarAudio Closeout. Price was great and shipping was fast and easy.

This amp lasted about 4 years. But my truck gets driven like 1-2 times a week. Has about 3,500 miles on it. It’s a project truck. Well the amp cuts out now when I go over a certain volume. It’s running 6x9 and 6.5” speakers. I thought it was a good amp so I bought one for my Chevelle. And now both amps are dead. Switched to JL Audio and sound is way better.

Coming from a department store amplifier, one week with this amp has introduced quality sound and confidence in my audio system. It delivers reliable power, and you know this because Rockford Fosgate is kind enough to include an amp dyno sheet in a box - a pleasant surprise. I believe this is a solid choice for a Mid-level amplifier.The adjustment controls are standard, with HP/LP filters for different applications and Bass Boost. Overall, the amplifier has performed well. Its one pitfall is how hot it gets from fan-less, convection cooling. Ensuring a good mounting location is a must for any amplifier. RF suggests a 1 inch space around the heat sinks.

This was purchased to replace an amp I have been using for 5 years, the setup and install on this amp is super easy to do thanks in part to the setup disc that comes with the amp. So far I have no complaints about this amp it is doing the job of handling my mids/highs perfectly! Only time will tell if this amp lives up to the name of Rockford Fosgate, but so far it is doing very well.

not sure why the review wants to know thickness and sheerness value, but 5 stars it is nonetheless. RF has always been my go to for long lasting mid grade amps. Absolutely nothing wrong with that
