I love it. BEN Q screen light bar amps up my working area nicely. I live in a rental flat with Covid; I have to work a lot from home (lots of late night working as my clients are overseas). Unfortunately, we don't have good light in the living room where I work. Lack of lighting has significantly affected my eyesight and given them a considerable toll. I tried many other streetlights from unknown brands (cheaper ones from 19 pounds to 40 pounds range). But most of them aren't that good for a few reasons: 1. Bad lighting quality - lights would start flaking after a month of using them. 2. Wabbly stand - they didn't sit well on my screen; one brand even scratched my monitor due to the bad design of the clips. 3. Not enough lighting - some screen lights were very short and didn't provide enough brightness or cover areas. This one solved all the problems: no more flacking lights, a very stable stand, minimalist design, and very lights. I love the touch control and their color temp - I can easily change them depending on the time of the day or the mood. It has transformed my working flow, and now my eyes are much happier. I think of getting another one after the Christmas bonus arrives for my other monitor.

Great and neat looking lights, I got two for my pair of monitors I use in my home office, and they work great! I plugged both lights into the USB ports on my Dell P2319H, the monitor automatically cuts power to the lights when my computer goes to standby. When the computer wakes from sleep, the monitor restores power to the USB ports, and the lights automatically come on, requiring zero touch to turn them back on, all automatic which I love. I don't quite bother with the auto dimming feature because I love my desk area as bright as they can get. The angle adjustment is also perfect for me, I could angle it just right so that it doesn't shine on the screens, and doesn't shine in my eyes directly either. Webcam can kinda be sat on top of the screenbar, but kinda dependent on the mounting mechanism that your webcam uses. Mine is a Logitech C920e and it is just stable enough. They are very pricy for what they are, but they feel very well built, I would definitly say they are worth the money.

Love this screen bar, it gives a nice light on my 27" monitor and I like the auto ambience setting which adjusts the colour temperature to suite the room. The brightness and temperature can be adjusted manually but I find the automatic setting does fine. I also like how it blend in and is hardly noticeable on my monitor. Well worth the money and cheaper than some other brands. The build quality is also very good.

Great light bar, the adaptable brightness setting is great for working in a room with varying levels of light. Warm and cool light settings for different feels. My only gripe with this is that when using it on a curved monitor, you get a tiny bit of glare at the top of your screen because of how it sits on your monitor. It's still very secure and you learn to ignore it after a while. I can't compare to cheaper versions as I've not owned them, but this has definitely done the job and lived up to expectations.

I have the regular model and whilst if is not cheap, it is well built and mostly well designed. The weighted mechanism for holding it on top of the monitor works well and as just a light touch on the controls is needed that is good enough to hold the light in place. It illuminates all of my rather large desk, where I have two monitors. I hope the price and the trusted manufacturer means that the LEDs are high quality and will last. Some years ago I bought some relatively cheap LED light panels to use for video work and now 30 or so of the 1600 LEDs have stopped functioning. It still gives a very good light. So, I hope that if one or two of the 45 LEDs in this lamp stop working that won't much affect its overall brightness. The dim button and the temperature buttons work well though I have it permanently on the lowest temperature and highest illumination. These settings are preserved when the light is turned off and on using the button on the lamp. BUT.. I have my main monitor positioned well back on my desk and I found there is not enough adjustment in the lamp to direct it outwards away from the monitor. The BenQ website claims 10 degrees of rotation, but I found I needed more and the USB plug got in the way. So, I resorted to a small piece of BluTack stuck to the top of the monitor to angle the light outwards a bit more. That leads to my second reservation. It is not bright enough for me. Its maximum of 500 lux might be enough for standard office work and for young people, but I find, with my aging eyesight (I'm over 70) that I need more illumination. Of course, I have made it worse by angling the light back to spread over a larger desk area and this is probably not helped by the fact that I have a large monitor that is adjusted to its maximum height as I am quite tall. I notice that the BenQ website shows the 500 lux illumination on a desk that stretches only 30 cm from the monitor with a relatively small monitor. For intensive work and for aging users a much higher lux level is needed. Oddly, I also found that the USB connection would not work from the USB socket on my BenQ monitor but it did work from the USB socket on my Apple monitor. The light stays illuminated when the computer goes to sleep (though it will go off if the monitor is turned off at the mains). The supplied cable is not very long (150 cm.) so you may need an extension cable if your nearest spare USB socket is some way from the monitor.

This is a must have accessory when you're spending a long time on the front of your computer screen. This light is brilliant, the brightness and luminance settings are versatile enough for any situation. It sits well and securely on the top of the monitor without any disruption of the view. Great quality, it is not the cheapest, but definately worth the price.

Ich persönlich war schon lange auf der Suche nach einer guten Lichtquelle für meinen Schreibtisch. Da ich meist bis in die Nacht hinein am Rechner meine Artikel für meine Blogs schreibe. Für ein entspanntes arbeiten am Rechner ist eine gute Lichtquelle immer notwendig. Bei schlechten Licht werden die Augen nach einer Weile müde, schwer und man fängt an sich die Augen zu reiben. Spätestens hier ist der Punkt erreicht wo man Schluss macht und ins Bett geht. Doch mit dem richtigen Licht am Schreibtisch kann man die Müdigkeit verhindern. Also machte ich mich auf die Suche nach einer vernünftigen Lichtquelle und fand die Benq Screenbar bei Amazon. Mein erster Gedanke: „Was, 99 Euro?“ Will ich wirklich 99 Euro für eine gute Schreibtischbeleuchtung ausgeben? Leider muss ich jetzt spoilern! "Ja, ich will die 99 Euro bezahlen. Verdammt nochmal, ja!" Ein paar Tage später war die Benq Sreenbar bei mir zu Hause und ich glücklich. Verpackung - Optik & Design Der erste Blick auf die Verpackung der Benq Screenbar war sehr positiv. Brauner Karton mit einer tollen Umverpackung. Was ich besonders gut finde, das auf der Umverpackung der Benq Screenbar die Aufbauanleitung abgedruckt ist. Somit spart man sich einfach die handelsübliche Bedienungsanleitung, die doch zumeist nur reine Papierverschwendung ist. In Taiwan denkt man scheinbar mit. Finde ich gut. Nach dem ich den Karton geöffnet hatte, war ich erst einmal hin und weg. Man sieht das ganze Edel aus! Klar, es ist nur der Halter der Screenbar, die Lampe und ein USB Anschlusskabel. Doch schaut euch mal an wie das ganze eingepackt ist. Nicht in den Karton geschmissen, nein - gut überlegt angeordnet mit Liebe zum Detail. Du wirst dich sicherlich Fragen wo das Detail im Karton ist. Ganz einfach, an der Stelle wo der Halter mit Gegengewicht im Karton platziert ist, sind in der Kartonage oben und unten ein kleines gummiartiges Viereck verklebt worden. Ich glaube das dient dazu, das der Halter mit Gegengewicht im Karton einen guten Halt hat und während des Transportes nicht zerkrazt. Alles dafür, das der Kunden wirklich einwandfreie Ware bekommt. Wer achtet heute schon auf ein solches Detail? Nur Kunden die das zu schätzen wissen und Hersteller - die ihre Produkte lieben. Zumindest würde ich das so für mich interpretieren. Benq, das habt ihr gut gemacht! Mir macht das auspacken wieder einmal richtig Spass. Benq Screenbar ausgepackt - Erster Eindruck Die Benq Screenbar ist schwarz, matt gehalten und sieht einfach super aus. Überall sind zum Schutz noch Klebestreifen aufgeklebt, um die unnötige Kratzer an der Screenbar zu vermeiden. Der Zusammenbau der Benq Screenbar ist Dank der Aufbauanleitung der Umverpackung denkbar einfach. Du nimmst den Halter, schiebst die Screenbar in die Aussparung, bis der USB Anschluss am Halter mit Gegengewicht zu sehen ist. Kurz drehen, das es einrastet und nun das USB Kabel anschließen. Nun nur noch die Benq Screenbar auf den oberen Bildschirmrand legen, das Gegengewicht dahinter platzieren, Fertig. Beim ersten Auflegen der Screenbar hatte ich schon ein bisschen Angst, das mir die Screenbar von Benq gleich wieder vom Bildschirm fällt. Doch was das betrifft kann man unbesorgt sein. Durch das gut austarierte Gewicht rückseitig am Halter der Screenbar, hält die Computer Lampe recht gut am oberen Bildschirmrand. Sicherlich ist die Screenbar nicht wie festgeklebt oder wirklich fest arretiert, doch für einen Bildschirm, an dem man nicht jeden Tag rüttelt oder wackelt, ist das völlig ausreichend und es hält. Es werden dabei Bildschirme von 1 - 3 cm dicke unterstützt. In meinem Fall der Bildschirm am oberen Rand 1,1 cm dick und hält. Meine anfänglichen Ängste das die Screenbar vom Bildschirm fällt haben sich aktuell in Luft aufgelöst. Ich hatte in der Vergangenheit immer LED Streifen als Lichtquelle genutzt, die man handelsüblich überall kaufen kann. Sobald es mir zu dunkel am Rechner wurde, schaltetete ich die LED Leiste hinzu. Doch leider war die Lichtqelle nur auf ein helles orange reduziert, was mir schon seit langem nicht mehr gefiel. Ich mag eher weißes, kaltes Licht zum arbeiten und genau das bietet mir die Benq Sreenbar mit immerhin 6500 Kelvin. Persönliche Einstellungen kann man einfach über die 4 Sensortouchtasten an der Benq Screenbar treffen. Ganz rechts findet man den Ein und Ausschaltknopf, links den automatischen Dimmer. Ein Druck auf diese Taste und die Screenbar regelt an Hand der eingebauten Fotozelle das Licht nach dem Umgebungslicht im Umkreis der Screenbar. In meinem Augen leider zu schnell, heftig und nicht sensibel genug. Auch wenn der Ansatz nicht schlecht ist, nutze ich den Dimmer nur, wenn ich etwas auf dem meinem Schreibtisch suche. Ein kurzer Druck auf die Taste und die Screenbar wird kurz hell. Schon kann man alles im näheren Umkreis erkennen, ohne umständlich erst die Screenbar hell und dunkel zu stellen. Ansonsten findet man auf der linken Seite der Benq Screenbar noch die Taste für die Farbintensität des Lichtes. Also Orange und weiß und daneben die Helligkeit. Die Farbintensität kann von 2700 bis 6500 Kelvin eingestellt werden. Oranges Licht zur Beruhigung und Regeneration und weißes Licht für effektives und konzentriertes arbeiten. Die Bedienung ist simpel und einfach und ich würde mal sagen - damit kommt jeder klar. Was mich persönlich noch sehr fasziniert, ist nicht nur die Tatsache, das der Schreibtisch und die Umgebung optimal ausgeleuchtet wird, sondern auch, das das geworfene Licht der Screenbar sich nicht im Monitor spiegelt. Der Monitor wird hell angestellt und doch kann man ganz normal arbeiten, ohne am Monitor geblendet zu werden. Benq Screenbar: Mein Fazit & Meinung Kommen wir zum Fazit. Sind 99 Euro für diese Screenbar gerechtfertigt? Ja, definitiv! Ich habe mir die Screenbar genauer angesehen und keine Verarbeitungsfehler oder ähnliches gefunden. Alles ist sauber verarbeitet und mir gefällt was ich sehe. Auch der Einsatz der Benq Screenbar ist vielfältig. Ich kann sie zu Hause, unterwegs, im Auto oder auch im Keller oder beim Camping benutzen. Denn Dank des USB Anschlusses, ist die Screenbar jederzeit auch mobil einsetzbar. Die Einsatzmöglichkeiten sind so vielfältig das ich nicht alle aufzählen kann. Ich denke 99 Euro für die Screenbar von Benq sind eine sehr gute Investition für das Gute beleuchtete arbeiten am Schreibtisch.

Och detta skall vara en kvalitetslampa? Slutade fungera med mindre 1 års användning. Tänder men slocknar omedelbart och är då helt unresponsive.

La lampada è di buona qualità, si vede subito appena la si tira fuori dalla scatola. Qualità che però, secondo me, non giustifica un prezzo così alto. La luminosità è buona, come le funzioni di regolazione dell'intensità del fascio luminoso (avrei preferito che si potesse ridurre ancora di più l'intensità luminosa), della temperatura della luce e della regolazione automatica (che non ho ancora capito se funziona veramente, a me sembra che non funzioni come dovrebbe). Il cavo di alimentazione forse è un po' corto. Il sistema di fissaggio è un po' ballerino secondo me, infatti agendo sui comandi posti sopra la lampada, tende a muoversi di lato.
