Easy activation setup - True to its name, the UT-2500 provides a magnetic door/window sensor contact and terminals for both normally open (N/O) and closed (N/C) inputs. It can be activated by any detector type.
Provides long-range wireless operation - The UT-2500 unit can send alert signals to its paired receiver even if the transmitter is 1/2 mile (2500-feet) away.
Expandable - If your house or office has several entrance doors and windows, you can pair multiple UT-2500 Transmitters into a single Dakota Alert DCR-2500/PR-2500 Receiver.
Durable - The universal transmitter runs on a CR-2 3V lithium battery and can withstand temperatures from -30 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

Dakota Alert UT-2500 Universal Transmitter The Dakota Alert UT-2500 is a simple security transmitter sensor that offers several methods of activation. It has a push button, which you can use as a doorbell or panic button. The panic button is useful for elders or patients who reside with their caretakers. The UT-2500 also has a universal dry contact input for normally open (N/O) or normally closed (N/C). You can use the UT-2500 with detector contacts. Plus, it has a magnetic contact that you can install on doors or windows. When someone opens the door, the transmitter will automatically send a signal to its paired receiver. Even if the receiver is 1/2 mile away from UT-2500, it will still receive the alarm signal and trigger one of the alert tunes or activate the relay outputs. The universal transmitter operates in 433.92 MHz radio frequency. You can set which frequency to use using the first eight dip switches inside the UT-2500. The transmitter provides up to 256 combinations. The last two switches (9 and 10) are for the zone/channel setting and tune. Dakota Alert designed the UT-2500 to be weather resistant so you can confidently install it outdoors by your gate. It runs on CR-2 3V lithium battery and can last from 6 to 12 months depending on the number of activations. Note: The UT-2500 Transmitter is only compatible with Dakota Alert DCR-2500 and PR-2500 Receivers.
