Primos Primus P-220793 230gm Power Gas Canister, 8-Ounce

The plastic cap was a little bit of a problem. The pull tab perforations separated ok but I had to grap a small tab with my multi-tool pliers. If that is the only bump in the road...good to go. Attached to a Primus backpack stove, it fit perfectly, cracked the valve slightly and it lit right up. It makes a nice stable base for the stove. This size can will pack better than two of the smaller cans. Check out other brands; at the time of purchase this Primus gas offered the best value. Don't know how long the gas supply of one can will last, but I have a feeling I will get several meals from one can.

Some history before I go into the item itself: I needed clarification as to what type of fuel it is, so I emailed seller. The return said it was 100% natural gas? all it says on the can as you can see is " Power Gas ? ok, what kind of gas. anyways: Received this a couple days ago and works fine. On the label or can itself, says butane and propane. So I ordered it on the 17th of October, got it this Monday the 28th. Shipping was free from using UPS...I actually got a notice that it was being transferred to USPS or us mail? Anyways, no signature was needed and it arrived in the smallest box possible for this item. Another note worthy issue is the price. I paid exactly $8.29.00 with free shipping and two different carriers to make it all happen. It now cost 11.39 with free shipping. Now 30-45% more for some reason: so maybe they took a loss or broke even to justify this sudden jump in the price? I also took a chance in buying this because there was only one item review. That item review is totally bogus! this is the review you need to see...regards. Cannot refuel this type of connection that I know of but it worked out.

It's portable to carry on a backpacking trip without having to carry excess weight.

What I liked was Excellent Communication with seller, product received in amazingly 3 1/2 days, product was ready to use and rust free. This is the best price and fastest shipping available on the web for Thru Hikers and general Backpackers getting mail drop resupplies.

The product came as expected. The product was used with a pocket rocket. The fuel burned well & hot. The fuel lasted 4 days out of a 7 day hunt. I had to leave after i got hungry. I am not sure how long they are supposed to last or if there was a leak.

That's all I use now. This butane/propane mix just works as it should. No fire outs, no fuzz, it does the job. Will no disappoint, I trust it in minus degree in high altitude, or as a backyard mosquito repellent attachment. Best!

most places charge crazy shipping, i was happy to have this shipped at a reasonable price. side note- if you are using a butane stove in a more permanent location (ie you are not actually back packing) then consider getting a propane-butane adapter- the propane is a lot cheaper and easier to get.
