can these be used for removing air from hydraulic oil ? thanx and a great day to you .

If there is air in the line there is a vacuum leak in the pump these would probably get clogged with particulates. Also there's nowhere for the air to go if the hydraulic system is properly sealed.

Do these come in 5 micron?

I do not know know. I would assume they are a variety of sizes

would these tolerate chlorinated solvents?

I haven't used them with anything chlorinated, but I don't see why they wouldn't. I've used similar filters with chloroform in the past...

I'm so glad i finally bought this. I had been using a 12.5 cm paper and just cramming it into my buchner funnel. The filters have been working great for vacuum filtering Copper Carbonate in my science classroom. I will need to purchase more by the end of the school year.
