I’ve never done anything like this before.... I’m more of a paper craft person, and the most time I’ve spent with thread and needle is knitting scarves 10 years ago (and I wasn’t very good at that). But I like to try new things, and I’ve just recently moved and wanted to decorate my house with some handmade decor. This kit is a great value for the price! It came with the hoop, more than enough thread, and two needles! The printed pattern is very clear and easy to follow, and the little sheet of instructions on what stitch to use and how to do it is clear enough (and anything I don’t understand I just watch a tutorial on YouTube). I’m about 3 hours into the project already and I didn’t want to put it down last night. I was up until 2am stitching away! It’s fun, simple and it’s going to look very cute next to my collection of cacti!! Thank you for a great quality product, and for allowing me to add another hobby to my ever growing stack!

This kit was a great starter kit for me and pretty easy & quick to complete!

For the price, I think this is a great little craft project or gift! It comes with plenty of embroidery thread, 2 needles, and a really solid pair of mini-scissors. However, the instructions are nearly useless. It seems that the instructions were likely created either, a) In another language, and then (badly) translated into English, or b) By someone with limited control/understanding of the English language. I had to go online to figure out what types of stiches/patterns were what and how to make them, which seems like too much fuss for what should be an all-in-one beginner's embroidery kit.

I really enjoyed working up this kit and my friend LOVED it!!

Loved it. Super cute. Made it as a gift for a friend while visiting Arizona in less than 2 hours while relaxing in my hotel room before our meet up.

The instructions this comes with are half illegible. The back side has descriptions that are easier to read but don't match with the instructions, which instruct a "French bean stitch" which I think is the French knot described on the back. I bought this to learn so it's not a big deal, I can find better instructions on YouTube anyway, but it was a little disappointing. That said, the fabric and hook seem solid, and the thread is vibrant (even if hard to get the strands apart) so not a total loss. It's fine, hence 3 stars.

Do not hesitate, purchase now! Especially if you want to keep yourself busy and be creative. Definitely a great purchase for a beginner. In the past I have always been bad at sewing, but I have a background in art and wanted to give this a try. This was a first for me and I am very happy I chose this exact product to start with. It’s awesome to learn as you go with this, the instructions are helpful. I did look at YouTube videos to get s better visual of the stitchings. Recommend this for sure. Get it and have fun with it! Also, everyone I shared this with loved the quote.

Good product (frame in picture was bought separately though). The instructions are kind of wonky, but the stitches are pretty basic so just head over to YouTube if you don't know how to do them. This is perfect for beginners!
