Allen Edmonds Men's Strandmok

I bought these and a pair directly from Allen Edmonds, too. (I bought the pair from Allen Edmonds first, but saw that they popped up in my Amazon feed, too, and figured I could save 5% by using my Amazon credit card).When they arrived, I assumed they would all be the same. Same box. Same size. Same everything.They're not.The shoes from Allen Edmond directly: (1) smelled like amazing full grain leather (2) had very tight white stitching around the sole and (3) all stitching was straight with many small stitches.The pair I received from Amazon: (1) smelled like nothing. (2) stitching was more variables, without the straight lines and small tight stitches like the pair sent straight from AE. It was strange to me that they would be different. The UPC codes on the box were even slightly different.I'm returning these to Amazon. I've also purchased a pair of Puma's in the past which were unlike the originals and am concerned about buying shoes from Amazon going forward.

I have about 10 pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes and have never ordered a pair off of Amazon before. I was concerned with the possibility of "fakes" or "factory seconds" being sold as original, first quality. However, my size was sold out on Allen Edmonds' site and I wanted this pair for casual wear. When they arrived I scrutinized them heavily but I am convinced they are, indeed, factory originals in first quality. Additionally, this particular style is perfect for casual wear with jeans, especially in wet weather due to the rubber sole.

wow! I needed a nice looking, casual shoe and this really fits the bill. I love the Allen Edmonds brand. Yes, they are expensive. But honestly, I would rather have a more expensive shoe that is comfortable and will last me years than a cheap alternative that will need to be replaced every year.I wore these shoes for the first time for the whole day. My feet were fine. I wore them in the rain, my feet were dry.They have a great shine and got me compliments.

Gorgeous shoes. Yes, I know, "gorgeous" is not what most men are going for in a shoe. However, I've had so many compliments and blatant envy from coworkers, I cannot think of a better word. Quality = 10, fit = 10, Looks = 10. They are expensive but, as in most things, you get what you pay for.

Bought them, wore them for less than six months to and from the office. Decided to take them on my honeymoon. After wearing for more than a couple thousand steps a day, realized there was a large bump on the ball of the foot that caused terrible blisters. Was told by their support that this had been caused by excessive wear and it will cost $125 to maybe get fixed.

I get compliments all day long when I wear these shoes! The color is more dynamic than in the picture, and they look great with the tan or the red laces provided. The dainite soles let me walk into work from the far-off parking lot without worrying about slipping or damaging the soles.

Amazing shoe. Comfortable and fit me like a glove. Alot of folks have a rough time getting the size right on this last but for me its true to size. Beautifully made shoe

Great shoes but they run VERY large. I have numerous pair of Allen Edmonds and wear the same size in all except for this one which I had to order a full size smaller.

But you know what - it doesnt really matter to me. it's a shoeAnd it looks gorgeous

It looks like I received a pair of seconds - they had some very obvious/apparent defects which was incredibly disappointing.
