With the huge success recently of music from films, it's a great time for a compilation to round up the mega-hits that have come from, or been used in, films from the 60s onwards. For the first time on a compilation some of the biggest movie hits are brought together. The disc features some 80s classics before going back to the 60s with Simon & Garfunkel amongst a number of legendary film themes from the era and ends by coming up to date with some of the most outstanding recent film tracks from Lorde with her amazing take on ‘Everybody Wants To Rule The World’ from ’The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’, Lana Del Rey’s ‘Young And Beautiful’ from ’The Great Gatsby’ and the #1 track from ’50 Shades of Grey’ by Ellie Goulding. Take That’s soaring ‘Rule The World’ (from ’Stardust’) and Wet Wet Wet’s ‘Four Weddings And A Funeral’ theme ‘Love Is All Around’ kick off Disc 3. Some of the biggest and best loved 80s themes are included on this disc - ‘Eye Of The Tiger’ , ‘Holding Out For A Hero’, ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’ and ‘Back To The Future’s’ ’The Power Of Love’ alongside some super-synth themes ’Together In Electric Dreams’, ‘Axel F’ from ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ and legendary teen drama theme ‘Pretty In Pink’. 60 amazing movie hits, so get the popcorn ready, this is the best movie hits album in the world… ever!
