Could the ring be made in different size (for example 9.5)?

I had my husband's sized by my jeweler because the size 11 was a bit bigger, like 11.25. There is a solid piece of silver on the back of the ring that will allow for it. You have the option to contact John Hardy and mail it to them also. Their customer service was great when I spoke with them, I just didn't want to mail it to New York. I was happy with the job my jeweler did. The ring is beautiful!

Is it real silver? Will it turn green or Brown after a while like stainless steel?
