Work's Perfectly
These are an excellent replacement for the cheaper grip screws that Springfield Armory uses. The old SA screws started to strip way too easily when I was trying to replace the grip on my 1911. You can't go wrong with Wilson Combat products. Perfect fit and I suspect they are made from a much more durable material.

I had to replace the stock Taurus grip screws that were so tightly torqued that i had to destroy the grips that were on it to get the stock screws out the hex heads were so stripped they were round and i had to remove the bushings and use pliers to get them apart. so i ordered these wilson combat and i could tell instantly that they were quality better steel deeper hex hole so the alen wrench isn't going to strip out the screws look good fit good very solid product. highly recommend and the price is right.

Clean look
These screws give the 1911 a nice finished look with out having t have a odd tool to put them on or take them off a simple hex head tool is all you need and if you loose the one that come with it they are not expensive and I am sure most folks have sets of them around anyway. For that simple reason I would recommend these over the others you can find. sure they might have a cool design but the wrench you need for them is uncommon and I personally do not like that.. If you want to give your 1911 a polished look I can not recommend these more .

Fit my PT1911 perfectly.
I bought these online after laughing at the price of the grip screws offered by my local gun guy. I had to dremmel the old screws out of my used pt1911 that the previous owner installed with a torque wrench. I used these screws with my newly bought Crimson Trace Grips, and they fit beautifully.
