Dream Urban Cover

I purchased this to fit my skin tone and I am happy with the outcome. It goes on smooth and doesn’t leave that look of anything being applied on my skin. I wanted a lightweight formula and this does the trick. It was inexpensive so I purchased 2 colors. I can use both to blend with my many colors of product I’ve purchased before. Either they were too light or dark. Now I can get good usage from both. I’ve worn less and less makeup these days, due to the pandemic but when I return to work, I will have a nice smooth foundation to wear. Overall, I recommend this product.

Great coverage, amazing coverage, fells light, no weird smell, if you get the correct you will be very pleased I got the wrong color.

Too dark and blotchy

My new absolute favorite. I wear the color Cappuccino. The coverage and finish is amazing. Better than Peach Matte (Butterscotch) which I've been wearing over a year. One down side is it transfers if you don't set the crap out of it.

Received my order but I'm not happy, y should you give me products that have 7months to expiration date. Will never buy online again

I watched countless beauty guru videos about this foundation and how amazing it was so I was SO excited to buy it. I love a full coverage foundation and was super excited to hear the gurus rave about how amazing the coverage of this was. So I bought it. I actually got the right shade on my first guess which was shocking lol I’m usually in between shades. I used my normal moisturizer and primer, used a brush on one half and my Real Techniques sponge on the other side. I got barely medium coverage with both. Even after two thick layers, it didn’t change. Definitely not buildable. The product itself did look nice on the skin (where I had no texture or blemishes) so that was nice, but it didn’t cover any texture, redness, or blemishes at all. It actually wouldn’t even stick to my dry patches. It cling to the edges of them, but wouldn’t cover at all. Super disappointed. I guess it would be a pretty foundation if you have nothing to cover up.

First of all, I got this in the Java shade. I am medium-dark with cool undertones if that helps. And I am SO happy that Maybelline came out with a budget foundation in shades that I can use. The photo of the makeup on the tip of my finger is EXACTLY the shade this is - just about like melted milk chocolate. Very pretty. Now... this is less than $5 so my expectations were not high! I really am just trying to find anything that matches my shade without looking unnatural. This one is a good shade match and it is definitely moisturizing. On top of being so cheap, I have to give it good marks for not being one of the best in this low price range. The negatives aren't too *too* bad for such an inexpensive foundation. The main negative is just how watery this is. I can hear it sloshing in the tube at the slightest movement. I do think that I rather have a thin cheap foundation than a thick and clumpy cheap foundation. The other negative is that this will not last more than a couple of hours on me without a touchup. As it is, if I blot it too much with my sponge, it starts fading right out. Maybe if this were just a little thicker, it would build better and at least last for a few more hours. The last thing to mention is that this transfers like crazy. Maybe if I used a little setting powder or spray, it wouldn't. I think that this will make a great "tinted moisturizer" because basically that's all the lasting coverage I got. However, it's so cheap that I like having it around for when I am out of everything else and taking a while to find a good shade. Photos are of this compared to my other low-cost ($6-$7 range) liquid foundation to show a difference in coverage and texture.
