This thing is not safe. It's wobbly and not sturdy at all. Instructions are terrible and hard to understand. Don't waste your money.

I looked for a long time for a ladder I thought would replace the one the kids broke. The ladder came sooner then expected. The assembly instructions were poor but I believed we put it together correctly. The ladder was placed in the pool and the sand bags were placed under the ladder to help it stay submerged. Going up the ladder to get in the pool was fine, the problem came when I would do down the ladder into the water. The steps didn't seem to settle on the bottom of the pool and would shift under my feet making me feel like I was going to fall or the slim plastic hand rails would break. When getting out of the pool, I made sure the ladder was pushed up to the inside of the pool wall. The top rails are flimsy and I didnt feel they could support my 250lb frame. Going down the stairs out of the pool also felt wobbly. We moved the ladder to several different areas around the pool where the soil was higher or lower (the yard has a grade to it). We also tried to raise and lower the level of the ladder without any improvement. The company was very kind and helpful and I had my refund 2 days after the boxes were returned. Nice folks!! I would do business with them again.

Love the added stability this item offers. The one you get with the above ground pool is not as stable. One thing would make this item a 5 star is the railing is not as stable as I would like. It is a little wobblily. If this issue was improved this item would definitely be a 5+

These steps were not white. The whole system was thrown in the box and pieces missing. The instructions were not for the model I bought and the YouTube videos weren't either. We had to figure it out. The pole we were missing they shipped right away. We are missing a cap and I need to call about that. They are built sturdy and work great with my above ground pool. Don't expect a color that you want because they will just say that is how the plastic is.

I am recovering from broken knees and needed something sturdy and stable. Not it.

It was unclear how to assemble this product. My sister has one and I asked her to send a pic of how she assembled hers. Also the inside ladder and outside do not stay at the same angle that you set them up. we used tie down straps to keep in the position we wanted.
