A long hair cat was foisted upon our family about two years ago. The idea of paying for a groomer dampened my innate cheapness and I groomed her with an old hair cutting tool I had used on my son 15 years ago. The human version of this did not work well, it was loud and while it did get hair off my girl, she didn't like it and it was a wrestling match. So, I went ahead and purchased the right tool for the job. I read the reviews and this model was much cheaper than any other model out there AND it had more attachments. I liked the idea of cordless and it claimed it was quiet and it had stainless steel and ceramic blades. It also appeared you could adjust the length of the blades and their length from the unit. Waterproof too, but why you would want to introduce water into a cat trimming exercise, is beyond me. I got the package today and decided to try it out solo since there is no one else home. I have never done this job solo. First impressions out of the box, is that it is a beautiful looking cutter. The controls are intuitive and I did not have to read the instructions (I read them in the description online the day before when I purchased the trimmer). The blade adjustment is well-designed and intuitive as well. The plastic length pieces slide on, a little different design than the old human model I tried. The best part is that it had a 47% battery level when I turned it on do I was able to use it out of the box. I went and found my cat and then turned on the trimmer. It was quiet. Yes, the cat turned her head, put I petted her while she lay there, with the cutter buzzing in my hand. Then I went to work, using the cutter from head to tail. I used the 6mm plastic piece which was the second smallest length there was. I was blown away. Seriously blown away. The trimmer flowed smooth and the hair came off with ease. I did not have to cut against the grain, the hair just came of in waves. She immediately rolled on her back and showed me her belly which let me know then, that she was comfortable with it. I was able to trim her belly hair with no issues. She started to fidget when my other idiot animals came to investigate, and I had to grab her and hold her with one hand while trimming with the other. The tool flat-out works. I was able to remove copious amounts of hair with ease, all by myself. It was the most hair I have ever taken off of her and it took half the time. Seriously, I did not think this inexpensive cutter would be this good, but it is. She did not sit still do I could trim her entirely, but I will get her when she is eating her dinner, because she is a food hound. She eats like a dog. She looks better than she ever has and my experience cutting her hair was the best I ever had. I will never pay for a groomer again, even though I never have paid for one in my life. My only regret is that I did not buy this earlier. Alas. *****Update***** I fed my cat that night and finished the job easily. She sat and ate and I gave her a trim. The next day she had a pedicure and I used the trimmer to get the long hair around her paws. The plastic blade protector I had on was too long so I used the scissors and they worked fine. They are not the best scissors I ever used but they got the job done. The razor is truly one of the best products I have used in a long time.

I bought this shaver 2.5 years ago to shave the hair around my cats bottom. 4 quick swipes and done. I have used this MAYBE 6 times in total so you do the math. Last week after charging it wouldn’t stay on. I pressed the power button and it turned right back off. I held the power button down and it turned right back off. I know it can’t be charged on an adapter over 7 volts, and it wasn’t. I’ve used the same knock off iPhone charger each time I’ve charged this thing with no issues. It is otherwise awesome. Comes with a ton of quality accessories - even a great pair of scissors - and is not loud so kitty is calm. It’s lightweight and easily manipulated. Does a quick, good job. They have a contact collars in the box so I emailed and told them this. They immediately responded (less than 12 hours) to say they would send a new one. I got it today and immediately shaved kitty. I asked for help with troubleshooting but they just immediately said don’t worry, we will send you a new one. That is amazing service to go with this quality product. Buy it. You have absolutely nothing to lose.

These work really well for clippers if we don’t use the guides…but that means our dog gets clipped super close to her skin…which wasn’t the look I was going for…but for her breed this seems to be a normal issue as she’s a German shepherd black lab mix (50/50 mix)… I found the clipper size perfect for shaving her…she’s a larger dog and I didn’t find the head too small or too big to work through her coat…she gets dermatitis from food allergies and my kids once again fed her something she’s not supposed to have and she had a super reaction and I shaved her after she ripped out a ton of her own fur…we find doing that helps her skin out after a good bath with quality shampoo for dogs and time… Without the guards the clippers cut right through the fur without issue. She has very slippery fur…it’s fine almost? And suoer thick…she’s not double coated however…the scissors and comb that came with it were ok-the comb kind of Stunk to use but the scissors worked great…I found the clippers worked well to also removed paw fur which was great… It’d have gotten a 5 out of 5 if the guards would’ve worked for us somehow but when they are put on the clippers won’t cut through her fur…they either gum up super fast or it just makes the clipper unable to cut I’m not sure what it is or maybe I need to sort it out better I don’t know…

We purchased an expensive pair of dog trimmers last year. Although they did work very well, the noise scared our PomChi. It’s really hard to trim a dogs hair when they are scared of the noise. I thought I would give these a shot since the reviews seem to be pretty good. The pros of purchasing this are that there are very very quiet. Our dog did not mind being trimmed whatsoever it was not scared of the trimmer. The attachments that come with this are pretty good, having a left and right side attachments Which my other trimmer does not have. There is a indicator on the front to show you how much charging you have left so you don’t run out and I might add that charge is very fast. The scissors that come with this or not very good nor are they sharp but at this price I cannot complain. Overall these are excellent dog trimmers, and much better than the ones I paid three times as much for. Very easy to use and seem to be very high-quality . Overall an excellent product, and the fact that my dog is not bothered by these trimmers , makes it a excellent buy.

These clippers are amazing! Super quiet, which is great for keeping my dog calm, and the battery lasts a long time. It comes with everything you need—different guard lengths, scissors, and a comb. The waterproof design makes cleanup easy, and it cuts smoothly without pulling. Way better than I expected for the price. Highly recommend for any pet owner!

Great clippers for both my large and small dog, quiet enough not to scare my dogs and easy to use, the battery life indicator is a good thing too
