Typhoo Tea

Typhoo is a best selling tea in England. It tastes great if properly prepared. This many bags keeps me supplied for a month or so. Pour boiling water into a teapot; one tea bag for every 10 ounces of water. Let brew for 4 minutes. Remove tea bags. Put a bit of milk [not cream] into a teacup first, then pour the tea into the cup. Sweeten to taste, the less sweetener the better. Enjoy!

Make sure you get the right one. Thos one is in round tea backs and tastes amazing. The mooorre one is a square tea bag and doesnt taste quite the same

My son and I gave up drinking soda because we were concerned about the amount of plastic going into our recycle bin and the amount of money going out of my pocket. I decided to try iced tea. We've tried other teas that just seemed to lack flavor so I searched for strong tea and this came up. It is stronger but that's not what has won us over. The flavor is excellent. It brewed up very dark in color -it looked more like strong coffee. We were a bit hesitant to taste it but finally we did and WOW. This is the best tea I have ever tasted and my son thinks is excellent also. We have found our tea.

NO FLAVOR COMPARISON to the original. I’ve noticed that Typhoo Tea bags are NO longer available in the round shape, where about 20 or so were sealed together in FOIL, for flavor retention. . The problem is NO FOIL. It tastes LIKE A CHEAP KNOCKOFF. It’s terrible. I’m wondering if this is a result of all if Trump’s tarriffs. I’m sad. The best drink of the day is no longer the best. I’ve been ordering it online for several years ( the ORIGINAL FOIL- SEALED, which retains the flavor).

Best British tea money can buy

I saw a clip where Paul McCartney was talking about his early years and how he and John would smoke Typhoo tea...of course nothing happened...but they were young and not able to buy weed. The story was just interesting enough for me to see if Typhoo was still around, and they sure are. Typhoo is a great everyday breakfast tea. It's not woody at all, and there is a hint of sweetness...just a hint...just right. easily drinkable on its own. It's packaging is the best. 40 ROUND tea bags with NO strings make this a brewers dream. Each 40 bags are encapsulated by an airtight thin foil package...so long term storage should not be an issue. I always keep two large boxes (almost 1000 bags) of Typhoo in my pantry as emergency backup. The price is right...the taste is very good...and storing it long term is easy. But don't smoke it...

My favorite tea. But, this delivery, the boxes have changed and the bags are not round and not in foil packs by 40 bags. I have 240 bags in cardboard. Not happy
