This unit is made by Altec and offers the smallest low profile foot print under the bumper that can be found at just 1.3" thick by 10" long. PLEASE NOTE: Not designed to fit the C6 Grand Sport, ZO6 or ZR1. We do offer this item with the kit that is designed for the C6 Grand Sport and ZO6. This listing is for the powered retractable front plate for the C5 and base C6 coupe and convertible. PLEASE NOTE: This kit will not operate when the car is motion above 5 MPH and is designed to permanently fail in the plate up position (plate showing) to prevent it's use to illegally bypass traffic equipment or hide your plate from other drivers or law . We will not accept this kit back for replacement under the 30 day warranty if the unit shows that it was attempted to be used while the car was in motion or any signs of road . This plate will only fits the C5 and C6 Corvette 1997 through 2013. It will Not Fit the C6 ZO6, Grand Sport or ZR1.
