Perfect fit for your Fleetwood Class A
These are good replacements however the latching pin is plastic not like the metal originals. Thye do however work very well not only correcting broken latches they also correct bin's not closing easy. Before had to hold the handles open and push the door in before letting go. Now you can just push them closed. It is because after they ware for some time they do not slide easy and hang up sliding back to latch. Forcing them causes the broken latches. Expect in a couple of years these will do the same but cheap enough to keep some spares on hand as replace as needed. They give you screws to use after you drill out the original rivets. ( yes you will need a drill to remove the old ones, or could use grinder or even a hammer and chisel/punch "maybe") I prefer to install all the replacements with rivets as it is a much cleaner and professional look.

Great Fit. Easy install.
Purchased to replace a broken compartment door latch on a Fleetwood Discovery Diesel Pusher. I was a little intimidated thinking I would probably have to fish some cable through the door or some other kind of hard to reach contraption. To my delight and surprise there is a solid rod hooked on the ends running from the latch to the handle and it was a breeze to stick through and connect. The only hold up was having to get a square driver instead of a standard Phillips or Flathead screwdriver to remove the old factory latch which luckily I had in my tool kit. In all it took less than 10 minutes. And now once again I have a cargo door the closest flat and is watertight. I actually bought two when I order this one so now I have a spare for when another one gives out.

A pita to install
Direct replacement, fits and works perfectly BUT A pita to install on our Discovery. These fit inside of the aluminium door edge. Removing that edge required 2 wide spatulas and some careful hammer work to separate it from the door panel as it was glued to the panel with adhesive. Next, the screws provided with the latch may work on some doors but not ours. I provided new hardware to firmly attach the latch to the edge strip. I also recommend that you have L brackets as pictured in the images. Removing the screws and edge from the door may very likely result in not being able to retighten those screws when reassembling, especially on older RVs. Reinforcing those corners with brackets and sheet metal screws will result in more solid doors, too. Yes, I recommend this and yes I would buy it again if I ever use the 2 spares I also purchased.

So easy!!
Worked excellent on 2007 Fleetwood Discovery 40x. Had a latch break on vacation. Had this shipped to our campsite and only took 10 minutes to change it out. Now I have spares for future failures

It’s a perfect fit for 2000 FLEETWOOD Storm
Very simply to install. Remove the 4 screws holding the lock. Take the rod out of lock Next go to the side you are replacing and remove the 2 screws at the top and bottom of door. Use an auto trip tool and remove the trim. Unhook the latch. Replace the lack and put a bead of silicone on the trip to make sure it goes back tight. Put it all back. 15 minutes.

The product fit perfectly, like the original, for a fraction of the price at an RV dealership parts department.
