Question 1

How do I download books from my old broken kindle to my new kindle

Accepted Answer

It depends. If you bought your books from amazon, you can login to your account and from the drop down list go to
1) manage your content and devices,
2) click on DEVICES (next to CONTENT) set your new kindle as the primary device for downloads by clicking on the box next to it.
3) click on CONTENT : tick the boxes next to the books you wish to download and click on DELIVER on the right side of the page in orange to re download them to your new device.
If the books are not from amazon then you would probably need to connect your old kindle (if it's still functional) to a PC and copy them to a folder on the PC, then connect your new kindle to the PC and copy the books/folder over to it.
Hope this helps. Kind regards John
