Looks and writes like a more expensive pen! 🖋💜
The title says it all, really. This pen looks like it costs at least 4x the amount I paid for it (~$8), if not more. I recently bought a Pilot Metropolitan and tbh I like this pen a lot more! This pen is well made. It has a nice weight to it and the "starry night" color is beautiful. The holographic glitter that covers the whole pen is sparkly but not too gaudy. The silver hardware (clip/barrel trim) is the perfect accompaniment to the black and sparkles. I have big hands so the weight and length of the poem is perfect for me 👌🏾 This comes with a medium nib that writes nice and wet with no skipping ✒ I've had this pen for a few days and have used it everyday since receiving it. The ink in using in the picture is Diamine's Scribble Purple and when I write on on good quality paper you can see the golden sheen of the ink! Color me impressed. I couldn't see that sheen with my Pilot Metropolitan, but that could be because the nib on that one is fine. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality and make of this pen. I like it a lot better than my Pilot Metropolitan... and I really like that pen. I think I'll be acquiring a couple more colors of the X750 for my ever growing collection of fountain pens. I say buy it if you're in the fence. It's a great fountain pen for under $10. The best part about that is if you don't like medium nibs or this one comes DOA, you can replace the nib with another #6 nib (from Goulet or elsewhere. I see some on here from another Chinese brand) and still be under the $20 threshold. Now to hunt for a purple one... 😄

Heavy, smooth, with some flair
Comparing to the Muji in "Fine" and Pilot Metropolitan in M. Used Jacques Herbin bleu cartridges in both Muji and Jinhao, the Pilot has Noodler's Antietam. 1. The x750 is advertised as a "medium" which I find to be more along the lines of a European medium nib. 2. All metal, so it is heavy. Heaviest out of the three, at around 36g without ink. 3. When capped, there is outside branding that is on the band of the cap. 4. Thicc-est in circumference by far among the three, which I like (I wear L gloves in the US). 5. Postable, but it becomes severely backweighted. Up to your preference if you use it posted. Least secured posted out of the three, with Muji being the best with a positive detent and Pilot having a stickier feel friction-wise. 6. The snapcap is the most positive feeling: high in pitch, loudest out of the three, requiring the most force to cap and uncap out of the three also. 7. Nib is super smooth, albeit the nib and feed were not aligned when I received it and the engraving/stamping on the knib is misaligned as well. Does not write as wet/dense as the Muji, but shows more shades of the ink being used. 8. No real line variation to be had from the nib. Did not want to spread the tines too thin that they are unable to return, so did not push too hard. 9. Smooth grip, with a silver band at the stepdown that give it the loud snapcap click. Very comfortable if your thumb happens to rest on the stepdown, as there are no threads there. Overall: unbeatable for the price of $9 shipped within the US. As someone with bigger hands, I love the size and weight, as the pen writes itself practically. No need to push down unless you want to try to get line variation out of the pen. It takes size 6 nibs, so if you have a preferred nib or grind in that size, you can try it in this pen to get a fantastic weighty writer. It takes international cartridges and comes with its own converter, so you can write within minutes of receiving the pen. Finish is flawless outside of a small bubble in the lacquer near the end of the pen, approx. 1mm in diameter, but I cannot complain considering the price. TLDR: unbeatable beater pen (ha), weighty for those who use the pen's weight to write, thicker for those with bigger hands/affinity for thicker grip sections, smooth nib that hits above its price point, includes converter already.

Same as Colored Sands Painting pen design
Great pen. Writes well FYI this is the same pen and design as the Colored Sands Painting.

Swapped the nib for a Zebra-G.
I've had this pen for a total of about 6 hours. I bought it because of a reddit article--someone swapped the nib for a Zebra G nib. I'm really into flexy pens, and the claim that you don't have to modify the Zebra G to fit it into the x750 made me very willing to spend $5 and test it out for myself. The nib and feed come out very nicely and the Zebra G nib does indeed fit the Jinhao x750 PERFECTLY. You don't need to saw off the end of the G nib or anything. The ink flow was really pretty great--it takes some getting used to but it barely railroads at all--and I can honestly say I wish I had bought three of these instead of the Noodler's Ahab Flex I bought. I've tested it with Sailor Yama-dori and Diamine Evergreen ink and both have worked very well. I've found that when it does run a little dry or begin to railroad, giving it a quick dip in the ink or (if you don't mind it diluting the ink for a few words) a jar of water works perfectly. The pen itself has a good weight to it and is rather nice looking, in my opinion. The sparkles are fun but not gaudy and theres some pretty black design around the silver rim of the cap. The converter is also pretty nice. All in all, it's a fabulous purchase. Whether you are using it just as is or modifying it, this pen is pretty nice and so cheap you will be happy you purchased it. For those in search of a "modern flex" on an incredibly tight budget, this pen is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Get it.

Beautiful pen
First, this peen is so pretty! In direct light the pen sparkles so nicely. It’s a heavier weight so feels like a high end pen-but at a budget price. I love the snap cap. And finally, it writes like a dream. Flow is a bit wet but that’s what I like from a fountain pen. I have a black ink with shimmer in it and it’s a lovely combination.

The pictures just don't do this beauty justice!
I don't have high-end pen experience (yet?) but this pen is such a joy to write with. The medium nib leaves a nice juicy line of ink that allows the sheening and shimmer to really emerge (on the right paper of course). I've found the Black and Red notebooks (as well as Rhodia and others) have enough coating to allow the ink to sparkle. But this pen - that sense of stars that you see in the images is even more powerful in person. As you turn the pen, the glittery points shimmer and shift in the light, seeming to change colors as moving. There is depth in the pattern. It's a lovely, robust weight that makes it seem much more expensive than it is. The pen offers a firm snap when the cap closes (not a screw cap). I quickly purchased a second so I could leave one on my work desk and one at home. One of my current favorite pens!

This it’s not a pen I could recommend buying
Dries up too quickly, Pen skips often and nib is too stiff to get it broken in which usually helps the skipping somewhat if not completely in many calligraphy pens. Tried different refills as well as the refillable cartridge and I use speedball ink, which is excellent ink for these pens.. having used calligraphy pens as my primary choice for almost 30yrs, an accomplished artist, as well s as a theologist who puts a lot of work into my study and contributing many studies into my work requiring me to almost constantly have a pen and ink in sorts in my hand as my “tools of my trades”, I definitely have put enough hours of experience under my belt that I believe I’ve definitely earned my right to say I know a good pen when I use one. And that does not necessarily mean a good pen means it’s an expensive pen by any means! I value the need to be conservative for many reasons and gratefully so as many of my favorite writing instruments have been found due to my conservative nature, and it is a part of why I love calligraphy pens. They are reusable, the ink can be easily changed out quickly to a different color without the need of another pen reducing on the go clutter and the on the go clutter is eliminated as well I have many times been working on a project or report at the SAN’s time as a commissioned art piece with the commission being an ink medium as well as commissioned writing projects (such as personal invitations where the client wanted me toCreate their Design template personally and I have used my calligraphy pen to compile up to 4 projects at a time all being in completely different needs for my assistance even as one of them had me traveling to do so. Having been able to use the calligraphy pen on such instances truly I’d the only way I’d have pulled off deadlines that run parallel to another and I have never used a calligraphy pen costing me even on the mid range price because I have always fallen in love with the perfect writing, creating and note taking pen ask in one in pens that I had reasonably bought just to try for the sake of wanting to test pens that o can find them reasonable enough to be able to recommend someone in even the tightest budget as I believe that to love what you are working with inspirer’s is to create, imagine, wonder and enjoy our time doing so. Due to this I definitely give all credit good or bad to the design of each pen and it’s designers to push them to making that a better experience. I can’t recommend the purchase of the pen as there are Too many flaws and it’s not a good experience to remember its name Let alone spend the money on this one. And having said that I feel qualified to say that it’s the pen, not an ink issue. I feel the design is causing the issue. It’s heavy and uncomfortable and the nip is terrible and unable to work it in as I can in most to where it flexes the shape right to my writing style. Resists and tends to dig in to paper especially during skipping. Dries out between uses which I use my pens daily and often so it has to be a design flaw. Seller was excellent, fast arrival and I apologize that I had given a bad review of this pen but having used this seller many times I am making it a point to let all review readers aware that it is the particular pen that is the issue and that said, as I started I have chosen this seller in the past over others when choosing which product to select because I have been very happy with the services of this seller and have Ben able to feel confident in knowing I can rely on the consistent value, excellent service and reliable delivery in the time I am promised so please do not allow my choice of review for the product affect your opinion as the integrity of this seller it’s highly honorable. Thank you. I hope I was of help

Good ink flow
The shipping was slow but the pen made it to me in one piece. The filling of the ink was simple and the sparkles will keep me motivated while I write out long navel manuscripts. The pen writes smooth and so far the ink flow has been good. Just got this so I will update in time.

Good quality pen
This is a good pen with a smooth nib. It's a little heavy, but the weight isn't distracting (I have small hands, and I enjoy using this pen). The pen has medium flow, so it's a good way to test out if inks are dry or wet. I use this pen for work. It's a classic black pen, but the glitter makes it interesting. I recommend this pen!

Well made cheap pen
Used this to build a frankenpen with a zebra G nib. It is currently my favourite pen. The body is solid and has a nice weight. I can’t comment on the nib as, as i said, i changed it before trying it. However I think that this pen definitely feels more expensive than it is.
