This cable does exactly what it intended to do. Powering two sata drives. Cable is plenty long and of good quality. I would buy again.

Having read several reviews on Amazon for Molex to SATA power splitter from various sellers I was reluctant to order from the sellers with the absolute lowest price and purchased three of these for my DVD duplicator build instead. When the package arrived, I noticed that the packaging stated that StarTech.com was an ISO 9001-200 company and the support address was right on the bag. A good sign. I opened the individual packaging and noted that the pins in the Molex LP4 connector were firmly in place and there was very little play no matter how much I wiggled the wires. Reviews for cheaper products noted concerns for the pins coming loose and shorting the connectors. Not these! Rigging the 3 splitters in my full size case was a snap. Positive feedback and a firm connection was achieved on the first attempts without wiggling the socket to make the pins line up. I'm glad I spent the extra $1 to get these superior quality splitters. Cheap piece of mind that the house will not burn down or my hardware short out.

Ran out is SATA ports but components these days use the new standard for drives and such, so if you find yourself needing this, then it's a mist-buy! Good value and fast shipping!

The pins are loose and move with the wiring. It is very difficult to line up all the pins in order to plug it into the female molex. In very cramped quarters it is almost impossible. I ended up using a different molex on my power supply where I had better luck in controlling the direction of the pins.

Grundsätzlich gibt es solche Molex/SATA Adapter auch teilweise zum halben Preis. Was dann hier aber positiv auffällt und aus meiner Sicht den immer noch günstigen Preis rechtfertigt, ist die gute Verarbeitungsqualität. Gerade am Molex steckeln sind die Pins oft sehr wackelig, was hier nicht der Fall ist. Alle Steckerteile halten fest und das Kabel knickt nicht. Ebenfalls positiv ist, dass auch direkt nach dem auspacken keinerlei Plastikgeruch o.ä. wahrnehmbar ist.
