PS3 Cocaine
I played the first LBP when it first came out, played it into the ground. It is not lacking in any area, which is kind of scary if you think about. So of course, as a loyal fan, I bought the second one. Do you know how it truly feels to have disappointment?? I don't. In fact, I had to spellcheck it, since it's not even in my vocabulary when this game comes to mind. 1) Graphics are phenomenal. Border-line witchcraft. The realistic objects in the game make your home's furniture look like they have crappy graphics. 2) Music is adorable. First handful of levels, there's TECHNO BEETHOVEN. I mean, it's like the little angels of PS3 made sweet love to the angels of creativity and their babies blew chocolate kisses into your ears. 3) Gameplay is a blasty blast. *sigh* I guess the levels are short and there are only so many. In a perfect world, the storyline has 500 sections and 50 levels per section. But do the LBP crew deserve to have their fingers worn down to bloody stumps because you love this game so much? Or maybe it's their fault. Who knows. Back to the point, the levels are short and sweet, you can beat the game in hours if you rush. But the arteries of this game supply blood to the main component... online gameplay. Just like the first one, user-made levels are infinite, ranging from nauseating garbage "How did I even get here and did they make this level with their own intestines and a paperclip" to "holy s*** I swear the original creators are under psuedonyms and made this" levels. Oh, and you can make your own crappy level. 4) For the used price, it is a steal. Like literally criminal activity. I paid $8. EIGHT DOLLARS FOR A SLICE OF GAMING HEAVEN. Did I do anything to deserve it? No, and I should be ashamed. But I just love it so damn much.

REALLY fun, and greatly improved from the first one!
It took me awhile to finally buy this game (partly due to work and other games) and it did not dissapoint! HUGE impovement from the first one and when I said improvement I meant the tools and gadgets in create mode. There are a number of new additions to your tools and gadget as well as tutorials to teach you how to use them. I have to admit some tools I had to replay the tutorial a second time because they can get complex. As for the story mode, its short. Shorter than LBP1 but I still had fun playing through it. They're more creative and the bosses are fun to beat, although they can sometimes be frustrating (talking about the last boss *cough*) The special edition also includes the Move Pack so you can use your PS Move to play. Also included is the Toy Story Pack which I love since Toy Story was my favorite movie when I was litte. You also get costumes like the Buzz Lightyear and Slinkydog so thats cool. I'd say it was worth the $16 I spent on it (a new copy too!) Get it if you loved LBP1 or looking for a family game because this game is REALLY fun!

Acceptable buy for 20 bucks.
-This is a good buy for$20. -Fun game. -Community worlds are better than the first. However, To me, the story mode seems to be shorter than the first, and the worlds seem relatively similar, although they are different in design. Nonetheless this game is a good buy and a decent sequel.

disappointing follow-up to an incredible original
My partner and I both agree that the levels/mechanics are more tedious; the aesthetic more cheap (does not capture the same real collage look of the first, and just lacks the variety and excellent detail of the first); and the music outright sucked (an especially surprising let down, and a major annoyance). They really failed to retain the charm of the original. (The aesthetic and music basically made the first game, so I don't know what they were thinking.) The introduction of the 3-4 player bonus sections should have just been separate areas/activities. The characters should never talk (why in the world did they elect to have them talk). The story-line was ... just lame. Many levels/areas/additions were glitchy. (I'm looking at you, grappling hook.) And the final boss fight? Wow developers, did you just not even test it? The only reason why I give the game two stars--the only truly enjoyable new part of the game is this laser cannon versus activity(/mini-game). They honestly should have developed that into a full-length game.

We love it!
This game is a terrific successor to Little Big Planet 1. In some ways, though, this game might just be better. Nearly everything in the first game is back but the new stuff (bonus Toy Story world, bonus downloads, the cars to drive, the guns to shoot, the additional creation tools, etc.) make it much more enjoyable. I was worried that the story modes and other arcades in this edition of the game wouldn't be as "big" as they seemed to be in the first edition. I was wrong. I was also worried that the increased ability to create worlds would compromise the game's playable content. I suppose my concern was that the playable content would be reduced in order to provide more creativity tools. That, too, is unwarranted. This game proved to be our Christmas 2011 highlight. It has something for everyone--and having the ability to play levels created by others online has only increased the fun. This game has been played by everyone in our home (ages, 8, 10, 12, 14, 40, 41) and has provided lots of laughter and fun times. It's refreshing to see games like this come along that are fun, challenging and wholesome.

Bad product. Many scratches.
Looks like they gave the disc to their pet cat or chicken for a week before mailing it. Tiny scratches everywhere and disc doesn't work. Might be repairable with dvd repair kit if you have it but otherwise this is garbage.

this game is so fun!
i love the game, the story is excellent and the characters are really awesome! the gameplay is amazing and is even better than the first! online play is fun too, having all sorts of levels, easy and hard. there's so much this game has to offer. like racing, adventure, comedy, horror, and epic light shows that feature famous songs. the downloadable content is really great as well. if you can think of it, it is most likely somewhere in the little big universe! but there is one thing that is sad about the game. sometimes when i go online to play i just use the "dive in" feature. and nine times out of ten the people i join question me after we play a mission or two, even tho i dont do or say anything wrong. ^^" so i recommend you play with your siblings or your friends on PSN. and sometimes the game is laggy if you're using the internet and playing the game at the same time, but it's not as much of a bother as it was in the first game. all in all it's a very enjoyable game. i dont know a single gamer that doesnt like this series :D

Great fun even if you suck at video games, when you're playing 2-player, to spend quality time with another
Purchased some time ago when it was released. Have a blast playing with another. I get very excited and make loud noises and howl as I assume my character's being. I suck at video games but the beauty is the other player's character keeps advancing in the game and everytime I "die" I come back to life and join him wherever he is. The come back to life is what allowed me to play 2-player; I don't "end" the game for my pal. Haha! Good, clean, fun, and not boring!

Always fun in co-op
Played this while there was still a hype for it. Played it with the wife, as it is one of few games she will play, tons of fun. Especially that you can create and visit other worlds.
