how much fiber is in each capsule?

500mg of Methycellulose (fiber) is in each caplet. These are not capsules. I break each one in two and take 6 caplets after dinner with plenty of water.

Several sites on the Web mention that Citrucel is gluten-free, and none that I found stated the contrary. I'm not a health professional so I can't vouch for these statements.
