Road Rash - Sega Saturn

package looks brand new, no scratches on the disk, no cracks on the package. works great, enjoying game on my saturn

I am a huge Road Rash fan and I must say this is better on the Sega Saturn than the PS1. The controls are way better and the game play is smooth. Must have to really play the Sega Saturns graphics

Great game

Road Rash is a game made by the Electronic Arts company originally for the coin opp arcades and the 3DO game console. Since the Sega Saturn was a 2D and arcade powerhouse, it was only a matter of time before this port came to it's new home. I remember bringing it home in 1997, and when I first turned on my S.S. I knew I had a cool game. This was not a typical motorcycle racing game that I have ever played before, it really rocks! ( the music rocks too! ) There's many full video cut scenes that shows an ugly, dirty, disgusting, and very cool underground motorcycle racing circuit that your about to take part in. The cut scenes are not family friendly though, the bikers are drunk and violent, and the chicks are sleazy W/short dresses. ( bummer ) Like most racing games, you race for money to buy better bikes. One cool thing about this game is, every rider has weapons to use. There are baseball bats, guns, chains, pipes, and, well you get the gist of it. It"s challenging trying to race through the streets of a city with the other racers and trying to whack each other with crude weapons ( or kicking ) at the same time. Pain, lots of pain! The game moves at a fast rate, and the sound FX are great. The one sound you don't want to hear is the Police sirens closing in on you, and if they catch you, a cut scene comes up showing you getting busted. Then after all that, there is a picture of your ( guy or gal, ) being laughed at by all the other racers as you get busted, then to top it off it says in big bold letters, " YOUR BUSTED ". So don't get caught! What a great moral lesson this game teaches our youth. This game has so much more to it I can't put it all down now, but I will say this, Road Rash is probably one of the coolest 32 bit era motorcycle racing games out there. Road Rash is a perfect " arcade to Sega Saturn " port that's a lot of fun, and it is a great old school classic! "Happy gaming"
