Where are these made?

China. Not sure why people say made in Hawaii, but my pair has 'Made in China' printed right inside of the strap.

Are they ok to use in water?

the leather ones are not. They are not water proof/resistant and get very slippery when wet.

What is the difference between the Mea Ola and Kulia?

The Mea Ola is rich premium full grain leather

Do these come with the Olukai warranty?

Yes. It is one year. The toe thong is made out of leather and not particularly strong. Mine broke a little after one year. They would not warranty it, nor do they have the facility to repair these $125 sandals, so I was out of luck. The thong part that supports the strap is about the diameter and strength of rawhide laces. Water damages them, so wear at garden parties only. Not a sport or all around sandal.
