Is this product food-based or petroleum based?

I would expect this is a product made by fermentation. Making this from scratch with petroleum based materials would be far too expensive and have a lot of contamination from non-reactive organic species. In addition, the bottle says it’s vegetarian.

Can the capsules be opened up?

Yes. They are regular gel capsules. You can open them up and add them to water or juice if you are having difficulty swallowing pills.

Does this have corn or soy

No, this product does not contain corn or soy.

I have read/heard that cellulose is wood pulp/saw dust. Is this what is in the B6 supplement?
