what is the inside diameter of these rubber tips?

Actually, Jeff, the inside has two diameters. On entering the hole we have a diameter of .375 (3/8") this diameter only goes to a depth of .080. At this point the diameter decreases to .290 for a distance of .062 (1/16"). A small circular rib, you might say. After this rib the diameter increases to .375 again. The total depth of this hole is .294. This rib actually grips the door stop. I hope this answers your question, Jeff.

Got this today (2019/08/16) there were 25 in the pack.

What is their id [inside diameter]? My stops measure about .375 = 3/8" then drop to about .3" O.D.

I measure ID at 3/8. I put the stops in hot water to assist in the installation process. It seems to me that they should fit any standard stops. Mine are the spring type. You get way too many with the purchase, but that is usually how it goes.

I have a vanity stool with 1/4" diameter metal legs do you think these will hold up for this use???
