Not worth the steep price!
I had these boots in my house for a few minutes and the coating on the heel began to peel away. I assumed at this price, the heel would be an actual stacked wood heel and not a piece of plastic with a wood veneer sticker over it. Lame! I'd rather shell out another $100 and get a pair of Fryes, or pay half the price of these boots and get something in the same quality range as these. NOT worth the price for the shabby quality. Bummer.

Review after wearing boots for 8 months
I love these shoes. I am a college student who walks miles a day around campus, and these were my go-to shoes for the previous school year. I am very happy that these shoes have really held up well considering I am notorious for walking so much that I've put holes in my last three pairs of boots. Granted, they were cheaper boots. These boots have worn in well and have really conformed to my feet. The pictures I attached are my boots after two full semesters of walking around campus. I have worn them in rain and snow, but I tried to avoid that too much just to protect my boots, especially from the salt. I have occasionally put leather lotion on them, and a little shoe polish gets rid of the scuffs on the front of my boots around the toes.Regarding shoe size, I got the size that I typically wear in boots. I wear 8 and 8 1/2 a lot in flats, but I went with 9, the size of most of my boots. I should also say that I have quite high insteps and arches, and these boots were great and weren't too tight. I also have wider toes with a narrow heel, and I never felt any problems either. My main complaint is that these boots truly have no traction. Do *not* wear these if there is any kind of ice outside. All in all, I love these boots, and I'm excited for the fall when I can start wearing them again.

Did not hold up to wear as expected. Save your $ and buy something else.
This is not Ben Oztalay writing - this is his girlfriend Catherine (23 y/o woman). I bought these boots in October and I was really hoping that they were going to be something that I could wear all winter. Unfortunately, they started looking worn out after only about a month of wear, and by now they are basically falling apart. The sole is coming apart from the top in several places, allowing the suede to peel back. The sole/heel is also plastic with wood painted on, and this becomes scratched very quickly on the back of the heel. One thing that has been durable has been the suede itself, which still looks great. I did take care to use suede spray with before I started using them and again recently - so that was the only part that was really satisfactory. I had heard and read so much good stuff about these boots and I was expecting them to be great, unfortunately they were not. Save your money and get a pair of Fryes or something that will actually hold up.

Best booties ever!!
LOVE these boots! Have them in numerous colors (almost all of them), suede and leather and even the calf hair. Get huge compliments on them all the time - especially the snake print, but solids, too. I've seen comments about going up a half size, but I don't agree. I'm a solid 6.5/medium in shoes/boots; these fit perfectly every time, especially when new; they do stretch out over time. That's when I go to thicker socks, but wouldn't change original size. I keep an eye on the prices - they do go up and down. Nice thing about Amazon is that it tells me when something I put on a list, etc., changes price. Love them so much that when I find a good price, I buy them and save them for when I wear out a pair. (Hate it when something I really like stops being made; my stash of these boots will absolutely prevent that!) Heel height is also perfect.

Style and quality OK, but problematic fit with solutions
I normally wear a 9.5, which was the first size I ordered. They were too long/large (I would slip out), but were right for the width. Then I ordered a 9, which fit right for the length, but was now too narrow. So, I wore them at home for several evenings with thick socks and the width started feeling comfortable with thin socks.Unfortunately, they are rock hard, with (virtually) no padding. After stretching them a bit more with thick socks, I inserted gel insoles. Now they feel OK.The way they are shaped could make your feet look big though. Take note, if that might bother you.. It doesn't bother me since even a 9.5 is fairly small for the 5 ' 10.5'' woman that I am.Good luck!

I’m glad I got these
I love these boots! Before I ordered from here, I had a pair from DSW in the moss green. Interestingly, the store only carried the shoes in wide (W), so I had to size down one full size (7 to 6) and wear thick socks to make them work. I ordered my regular size here in the standard width (M) in black leather and they were still too big! I returned them and got a half size smaller (6.5), anticipating the leather to stretch a bit, and I still need to wear thick socks to make them work. So, sizing puzzles me a bit, but other than that these are my favorite booties. They hit the ankle in just the right spot, which is an important consideration given my petite frame (I’m 5’3”). They are comfortable for being on my feet all day at my clinical rotation. They pair nicely with almost any outfit. And, so far, both pairs have held up nicely. I’m thinking of getting them in another color... :)

It is not easy to find cute boots with a modest heel so ...
My normal boot size is 10.5 and after reading the reviews, I decided to order a 10.5. My feet are a little wider than normal but for boots, the standard size usually fits. These are a little tight but doable with thin socks. It is not easy to find cute boots with a modest heel so I decided to risk it. I'm satisfied with the shoes. They seem relatively comfortable. However, I might add a little cushioning if they loosen up a bit.My one nitpick is that I think they are a little pricey for the quality level. There are a few flaws on these shoes even though they are brand new. I only put them on long enough to make sure that they fit and walk around the room to see if they felt comfortable. So for sure the scratches and cracks were already there.

Super boots!
Love these boots! Found them in a local boutique but too small. Good old Amazon came up trumps with the same boots, in the right size, shipped to the UK from the US at a fair price. I'd recommend going for your usual size or slightly up if you've got wide feet and are ordering the standard width boots.

Very tight
Assumed Sam Edelman is a good brand. Product looks good and quality, worn few times it's comfy and heel is good however too tight. Do they make these shoes for tiny narrow feet?! I am size 6/6.5 UK average guess with this brand I recommend to go size up and definitely but only if your feet are super narrow.
