These lights exceeded my expectations. The colors are bright, there are multiple lighting modes to choose from, and the remote makes changing settings easy. They’re perfect for decorating a bedroom, patio, or special event and create a beautiful atmosphere.

I got these for my bedroom so I didn’t have such a harsh light on overhead. I had tried other LED lights in the past and these are by far the favorite! It’s so easy to use and install. We rent from family so I needed something that would be easy to remove if need be. It doesn’t have that sticky backing I hate. You can easily hang these with a few command strips. The color is so bright and has so many different options for both color and pattern settings. The slow flicker is my personal favorite. The remote does have to be within 10ft of the plug in since the plug is the main control.

These are pretty nice string lights, with one big caveat. This is a USB set of string lights and it (surprisingly) comes with an adapter. However, the adapter makes a constant high-pitched noise when the lights are on. Weirdly, different colors are different levels of volume on the whine - for instance, yellow is the "softest" noise level. Additionally, any of the modes - i.e., chasing, flashing, etc. - are punctuated with the high-pitched whine as the lights change. Totally bizarre. Fortunately, I plugged the USB connector into a USB port on a power strip and that solved the issue. However - using the USB adapter straight into a wall socket did not reproduce the noise; it was only when the USB was plugged into the USB adapter that was then plugged into a power strip. I hope that makes sense. The remote is large and complex as these lights have lots of modes and you can adjust speed and brightness, but it is fairly intuitive. The wire of the lights seems pretty sturdy and it was easy to string them and fix them into position using Command clips. Overall, a decent set of lights but with one super weird issue. Not sure if this is universal of if I just got lucky. In any case, if you plug them in and hear the whine, try not using the adapter.

I used these 33-foot fairy lights to add some color around a bedroom wall and shelving area, and they were much easier to arrange than thicker string lights I have owned before. The silver wire is flexible enough to bend around corners and small decorations, so I could shape the layout without fighting the strand. The remote makes this set especially convenient. I can switch between 16 colors, change lighting modes, adjust brightness, and use the timer without walking over to the USB connection. I also like having both the USB plug and included adapter because it gives me more options for where to power them. The LEDs give off a bright, colorful glow while the thin wire mostly disappears into the background. I have been using them as evening accent lighting, and they make the room feel much more relaxed. The 33-foot length was enough for the area I wanted to cover, and the flexible wire helped the final setup look clean instead of bulky. For simple indoor decorating, they are easy to use and offer plenty of ways to change the mood.

The newest version of these lights is SO MUCH BETTER than the older version. You can tell the difference by looking at the slightly differing placement of colors on the remote, as well as the very different USB cord, which now has TWO buttons on it instead of just one, providing both Color AND Mode options there. On this version, the modes actually work, too, unlike the the old version, which do just three tricks: you could see it cycle through all the colors or choose just one color, and you could get the lights to strobe BUT only when it's set to white. Strobe doesn't work for other colors. (I bought several of the older version and all of them have these limitations.) This version even has a setting that shows two colors at once! Am really loving the twinkling option on this version, too!! Terrific improvements!!! UPDATE: Lights are still very impressive and going strong! (Also, they are including a completely different remote now, which I already had, but curiously, it doesn't work with my lights.) The only problem I have with this is the price, which increased by $5 since I bought them, and I think they are way too costly, or I would have bought several more. (I'm a recently retired disabled senior on a very low fixed income and I regret that I can't afford them now.) Look around on Amazon. I found similar lights here with the same features that cost less money. An issue that arose (after I broke down, saved up some cash and bought more of these lights) was constant buzzing. After meticulous investigation, it became evident that it was happening whether the lights were turned on or off and I discovered that was due to the USB plug they sent, not the lights themselves. So, I used a different plug which I already had & that solved the problem.

This worked perfect for my son’s dorm room. Went all the way around the ceiling and looks great

The color variation is very nice and the dimming feature is a bonus!

Exactly what I wanted, but there are a few downfalls. One half of the wires colours are more saturated, so when I have white lights on, one half is white, the other half is a light blue. The remote colours don't turn up ho they're portrayed, most of the greens and blues look exactly the same, and the purple in which I bought this for is blue as well. It does it's job otherwise, but the selection of colours is a bit of a let down when you actually have them in your hands.
