CD Review: Welcome back 10 Years. - i got this the day it came out and was a bit skeptical since the single "shoot it out" wasnt my favorite. but i bought the cd because i had faith that 10 years would give me a solid cd. and they did not dissapoint. this cd is. as the insert says, their masterpiece. a perfect blend of the last 3 cd's. its almost like they recorded the other three as single entities and then condensed all three styles into this one amazing cd. if you even remotley enjoyed any of the other three cd's, Killing all that holds you. The autumn effect and Division, then you will more than likely love this cd. depending on your musical tastes that is. Review: Solid album - I listen to many different rock groups and try to discover as many new bands as possible. I was fairly surprised by the entire album, being a band I've never heard of before. The lyrics are fairly well written along with good musicality through out the band. The songs don't sound the same which is what I was worried about. But this is a very good release on the bands part. You rally have to own a real copy of this cd to appreciate it, that goes for any other well performing bands out there since you don't hear the subtleties in the music with low quality recordings.

Now this is more like it!!!
10 Years fans rejoice - after the last album "Division" which left many of us wondering what the direction of the band would be, we can rest at ease. While "Division" has its place and time, "Feeding The Wolves" hearkens back to the sound of "Autumn Effect" that we all came to love and enjoy. Jesse Hasek has an amazing voice, and it clearly shines on this album. I always listen to an album and listen for vocal and tonal similarities to other bands, then I piece together the music I want to listen to on a given day or trip. On this album, I find that Jesse has some similarities to Brandon Boyd (Incubus) most notably on the "The Wicked Ones", "Chasing the Rapture" and "Waking up the Ghost". This album is very well engineered with amazing sound and clarity. I would love to see them live one day after listening to this album. I still listen to "Autumn Effect" and "Division", but I feel that this album far exceeds the previous ones. A must have for any hard rock fan.

Decent Enough
As I'm sure you can imagine, this is no Autumn Effect. I've come to accept this band for what they are now, which is not the same band that had that unique sound in Autumn Effect. If you accept this album for what it is, it's decent. For those of us who have followed this band since Killing All That Hold You(their very first album) it's not quite what we wanted, which was a revert back to the beauty of KATHY and The Autumn Effect.

The Usual Greatness
I was never a big fan of music until about two years ago when I heard 10 Years for the first time on the radio. Since then, I have never looked back. Their newest album "Feeding The Wolves" retains elements of all three previous albums, but is still entirely its own. This album has gone back to their heavier days of "K.A.T.H.Y", but is more aggressive. As seen in the songs: "Shoot It Out" "Now Is The Time (Ravenous)" "Chasing The Rapture" It embodies the cryptic, poetic lyrics that define "The Autumn Effect." As seen in the songs: "Fade Into (The Ocean)" "The Wicked Ones" "Waking Up The Ghost" "Dead In The Water" "Silhouette Of A Life" which is actually a re-release from "K.A.T.H.Y" (no worries, it's still in its original form) And it contains the catchy rifts/choruses found in "Division." As seen in the songs: "One More Day" "Fix Me" "Don't Fight it" "Running In Place" All in all, "Feeding The Wolves" is nothing less than ear-gasmic. But Let's be honest, what else would you expect from the epitome of awesomeness?

Deluxe has more
Like this cd a lot as I am a ten years fan. The reason I purchased the deluxe is because it has a couple more songs than the regular version of the cd and some acoustic song versions also. I would recommend buying the deluxe instead of regular cd version if you're trying to decide between the two because the only difference is just more stuff on the deluxe version.

Since hearing the song 'Wasteland' on Youtube I've become obsessed with this band. The vocals are always great and the music interesting. But this album is something different entirely. Every single song is fantastic and a joy to listen to. I've been listening to it every chance I get and I can't see myself ever getting bored of it. If you like this band, even just a little bit, then buy this album. You will not be disappointed.

10 Years is one of those bands that have a lot going for them, such as great vocals, catchy lyrics and ample sound. This album delivers assorted hard rock arrangements that will please most listeners, with Shoot It Out being the most radio friendly tune. Fix Me is another quality song that will have you singing along. Fade Into starts of with blending sounds of guitar and echoing vocals, forming into a raging guitar focused sound with solid arrangements, taking you through a raging 5+ minutes of slow to frantic sounds; very well done.

Meine Favoriten: "Shoot it out" und "Now is the time".
