Art Explosion 500,000

I thought this was a very good product. It works on windows 10. The search bar is fairly good certainly a 8/10 at least for searching clip art. I can't say much about all the other images, I use this product simply for the clip art. People keep saying that this product doesn't install correctly. It may be that this young culture can't wait 2 hours for something to install anymore. Anyways, I never write reviews, I'm terrible at writing. But I felt compelled to since all the reviews were largely negative which I don't understand. I wasn't expecting much when I bought this but it completely blew my expectations away. It works really well for my projects. I have already used hundreds of images for my personal project. I will say that if this doesn't fit your project, the clip art will at the very least give you a good idea or good inspiration for how you might go about drawing a better picture. Someone said that these pictures look like their from the 70s and 80s. I don't know what to tell you. A picture is a picture. I don't really understand that comment. I use a lot of graphics, but usually there are two major problems with those available on the Internet: either you spend hours on Google looking for some legal graphics, or you have to use subscription services that are ridiculously priced. By accident I happened to stumble upon Art Explosion 500,000, studied the so-called "promises" and looked at a huge range of reviews - not restricted to Amazon. I also studied the terms and conditions in depth, and though I'm not a legal expert it was clear enough that the content may be used in any print form - even on the Internet - as long as you don't try to illegally distribute or sell parts of the contents as your own. I got my product in the mail today, and eagerly I started installing. Although I had no problems with the installation, I did, however, notice that the installation of the browser took a really long time. That worried me a bit, but after an hour or so it was completely installed. My biggest disappointment lies in the fact that at this age of technology, I suddenly have to jump back nearly 20 years ago when it comes to using the browser: content is easy to find, but you still have to swap discs like a lunatic, as the content doesn't install on your hard drive. My problem here is the fact that often I'm using my computer while not at home. This means one thing: I can only use it at home, and nowhere else. The quality of the pictures ranges from outdated, but still useful, to fairly impressive. At least I cannot complain about it, seeing that I paid for the product less than what I did for regular shipping. Overall I think I'm a happy chappy with the product, and I can recommend it without any reservation if the outdated interface isn't going to bother you too much.

I bought this clip art for the photos. I'm very disappointed that a product being sold in 2015, would sell license free photos from the 70's and 80's and not specifically state that in the product description. I found very outdated grainy, poorly contrasted unprofessional photos sporting painfully obvious trends like fanny pacs, acid wash denim vests, sideburns, mullets and women's hairspray helmets. Definitely doesn't work for my projects. So if you're looking for modern license free photos - keep looking. If you're creating something and you need older content, this might be perfect for you. I wish they had noted the age of the photographs in the product description.

Nova Development US Art Explosion 500,000 This is a decent product and the images are nice and with 500,000 selections one will have no problem finding something that suits you. I decided to create a special folder known as EXPLOSION CLIP ART to which I copy and paste images that I thing I will have a need for in the future or a repeaded need for. You can save them in several file types such as BITMAP. JPEG, tiff, et al. It is a good and fair price--enjoy yourself works well with windows 7--no installion problems and without poor interaction with other programs. It works flawlessly with all Microsoft programs such as word and publisher and Outlook 2010--I am sure one will have no issues with most other programs using images.

The art is fantastic. Finding what I want is a challenge. Now appears to be sorted by type of art (picture, sketch, cartoon) rather than subject of the art. Needs a subject sort capability. The search feature might be useful if you hit on the correct terms.

Prior to purchasing, I read some of the reviews. Some folks had difficulties with it working with a newer operating system. I am running Windows 11. It installed easily. I was able to open the icon. Have yet to use it (insert graphics into a Word doc), so my opinion may change. Starting with disc 1 (the installer disc). I inserted into external CD Rom drive. Had to navigate to the device (it didn't autoplay), select the correct setup icon (setup application not the CD icon) Followed prompts, answered yes when asked, agreed to the legal ez, continued following the prompts, and waited.... and waited, took a few minutes (like 5) to completely install. Didn't have to touch the other three discs.
