I purchased this for the Boss SY-200, and it works great. The power supply works exactly as I expected. It seems to be well constructed.

Well made, better quality than lower price alternatives
This power supply is highly recommended by BOSS and users as providing high quality, clean power. There are several aftermarket alternatives at far lower price but I have read that several do not provide a clean power signal and can damage guitar/bass effects boxes.

This is an authentic Boss PSA 120-S adapter
This is an excellent power adapter that fully meets expectations. It is unquestionably an authentic PSA-120S unit, even arriving in official Boss/Roland packaging — a reassuring detail for anyone concerned about receiving a genuine product. I connected it to my Boss ME-90, and it performs flawlessly, delivering clean, consistent power while saving me a significant amount on AA batteries. Thus far, I’ve experienced no unwanted noise or interference. As the adapter officially recommended by Boss for their gear, it’s clear this unit was designed specifically with these devices in mind. While it is priced higher than many generic alternatives, the peace of mind that comes with using the manufacturer’s recommended product—especially when powering high-end equipment—is well worth the investment. I strongly recommend this adapter to anyone in need of a reliable PSA-120S solution. Overall, I give this product a 4.5 out of 5 stars. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is simply because I’ve only recently purchased it, and I’d like to see how it performs over time. Works as it should with my Boss GT-1 mult-effects pedal and is the recommended adapter by Roland/Boss. Much easier than relying on batteries.

Original Boss/Roland PSA Adapter, works great, great price!
Might as well get the original wall wart for your Boss or Roland music effects, right? This unit is quality throughout with a thicker shielded long cord with a noise choke, usable on other pedals as well. Great price, packed well; I will get a couple more for my gig bag soon. My original one is ten years old, and is still in good shape and working. This model runs cooler and better constructed. I only got one of these this time because I have purchased others (from a different seller, not on Amazon) like this that claimed to be OEM Roland, and even though they had better specs, the cords were super short in comparison, and no noise choke. These are legit.
