Favorite Coffee! Great for those who like true coffee flavor
San Francisco brand French Roast coffee has been my go to coffee for years now. It consistently has an enjoyable bold, true coffee flavor and aroma. When visiting coffee houses trying coffees from different regions of the world is something I enjoy and it's so cool of an experience tasting the differences. Hanging out or frequenting those groovy little independent coffee shops is not easy now due to living in a rural area. While this coffee might not be some peoples choice, it works for me and works really well. It's definitely bold and full-bodied and sometimes I taste some sort of smoke aftertaste that's enjoyable. I roast my own coffee and am careful about selecting beans but haven't been able to find time to do that this year. When out of San Francisco French Roast coffee I literally freak for a minute and then search all over for anything with actual flavor that might be lurking forgotten in our coffee pantry. When I find all we have is my husbands Max... House breakfast blend it makes me cringe and take a deep breath knowing I didn't plan well enough to reorder and now will have to struggle through a cup of that weird flavor and weak taste until it can be replaced. This coffee arrives quickly once ordered, and is packaged carefully using recycled products. The pods are designed to work in single serve K-cup type brewers but they're environmentally better bc they don't have all that plastic that gets wasted. The tops are made of thick paper and the bottoms are made of a densely woven sort of paper netting. They work just fine and without any hiccups in my plain, single-serve, k-cup brewer. The pods are made to be recycled too. Each box contains, I think, 8 compostable bags and in each bag there are 10 single serve coffee pods. An added huge bonus comes when you open one of your bags and - poof! - out comes the intoxicating aroma of fresh ground, full-bodied coffee. So good!

Delicious Coffee at a Great Price!
Rich and Delicious Coffee! Have been buying another brand, and decided to try this SF Bay flavor. Big freeze in the deep South today, and made my first cup this morning. What a great surprise. Robust flavor that stood up to my excessive use of creamers, and one of the best cups of coffee I have had at home, in a long time! Will definitely be ordering more of the San Francisco Bay brand, in the future!

True to expected taste
I’ve been drinking SF Bay coffee for years. Currently the French Roast is my favorite. To me, this is quality coffee with a smooth and bright taste. It works fine in my Keurig with a thin blue plastic adaptor. I really appreciate the company’s attention to ecological concerns with their packaging.

I Approve :)
I've bought a few of the 80 cup variety packs now and I would recommend San Francisco Bay OneCups to my fellow coffee drinkers. I think overall, the coffee is great, but there are some downsides that others may not enjoy. Let's break this down shall we? ============= Flavors I've Had ============= Fog Chaser - 4/5 - Not as bold in flavor, but still has great flavor, very smooth. Breakfast Blend - 4/5 - Not the best breakfast blend I've had, but one of the top. French Roast - 5/5 - One of the best French Roasts IMO Rainforest Blend - 2/5 - Not a fan, but not the worst coffee I've had (better than instant) Espresso Roast - 5/5 - Love this one, very bold flavor and very smooth Donut Shop Blend - 1/5 - Definitely not a fan... I'll take Walmart instant over this Hazlenut Creme - 5/5 - The aroma and taste are fantastic ==== Pros ==== - Compostable which is pretty cool - Most of the flavors are awesome - Fantastic aroma - Great price - Variety packs available (mix it up every few cups) ==== Cons ==== - Some grounds seep through the filter and sit at the bottom of the cup (I don't mind this, but I know others do). - The bottom of the cup is open mesh, so you do not want to store these in the open air (e.g. in a K Cup holder. I store mine in a loose leaf tea jar). - I had one cup open up inside the bag, so opening the bag was a bit of a mess (one cup out of about 240 I've had so far)

AH-MAZING!
San Francisco Bay Coffee "K-Cups" changed how I shop for everything. My normal routine for buying coffee started when I was at the grocer, perusing through the coffee isle. Was I going to pay 13$ for 10 cups of Starbucks K-Cups (1.30$ a cup), or was I going to pay 8$ for Folgers of the same amount (.80$ a cup). Both are seemingly okay, but both really don't capture freshness like the fresh grinds I got from the good ole fashion coffee grinder and pot. Was it a mistake buying a KEURIG??? Did I have to choose between great coffee and the trendiness of my Keurig? I moved my search online, searching for a delicious cup of coffee I didn't have to promise my first born for. I came across this golden egg and was quite skeptical. Other reviews speak of the lack of body in the coffee, and some other nonsense that I now know is just hogwash! This coffee is spot on with price, taste, body, and aroma- all added to a company that gives back?!? Pinch me I'm dreaming! PRICE: I bought 80 cups at 29.99. That's .37$ a cup! SAY WWHHHHAAAA???? .37$ A CUP! AROMA AND TASTE: The cups come in sealed, pre-packed plastic bags of eight. As soon as you rip open a bag, the sweet aroma fills the air. Sweet baby jesus it is amazing! You can smell the boldness of the coffee! As soon as you pop a cup in your brewing system, the aroma travels with a 'come-hither' finger throughout your home. The coffee (I bought french roast) is dark and delicious! The flavor is fresh, low on acidity, and leaves you wanting more. You can taste the coffee. I know this sounds weird, but now-a-days, it's rare. PACKAGING: This comes just like a regular k-cup, sub the plastic bottom. There is a plastic ring with foil, just like the regular cups, and the bottom is just the filter. So less waste and byproduct? No plastic? Get out of town!!! Since the cups come in small bags of 8 to keep the freshness, once I open a bag I transfer them into a small ziplock. THE COMPANY: The company is fair traded, everything is organic, family owned AND OPERATED, and they give back to the community. I think I should stop here until the urge to go hug them subsides. Bottom line- this is an amazing cup of coffee, at a great price, with a company that gives back to the community.

My love affair with this coffee is over!! Defective!
I have had an ongoing subscription for San Fran Bay French roast coffee for a very long time. The last shipment that I received, the cups are defective!!! They are opening up on the sides where they are supposed to be sealed, and the coffee grounds are coming out and spilling all over. This has been happening on one out of three cups that we have been making!! When you’re trying to make a cup of coffee before work, the last thing you want to do is to be trying to clean up a mess from your coffee. Having to run a plain cup of hot water through the machine to get all the grounds out, removing the part to rinse out, then wipe out around the rim of the coffee maker with a paper towel, dumping out all the coffee from your cup, and having to do it over again is completely unacceptable. This happened to us FOUR times in a row one morning!! I then ordered a new Keurig coffee maker and the same thing is happening…, I’m throwing the rest of the box out and canceling my subscription. Look at my photos-

Great flavor, smooth and environmentally friendly
French Roast is my favorite flaver they offer. The FOG one is WAY too dark roast for me. This is the perfect medium/full bodied coffee and I like the fact that they are compostable. I feel safe knowing there shouldn't be any micro plastics brewed in my coffee.
