I was looking for a replacement for our two Actifrys that were end of life, of which I had to keep sourcing replacement parts for (pan with holes, snapping paddle etc.). I'm happy with this as maintenance will be much lower since the parts are more robust and there is no internal plastic that wears over time. You can also shave off around a quarter of the cooking time when air frying compared to the Actifry since it cooks faster, which is a bonus. It's very easy to use and you can adjust both the timer and temperature whilst cooking. When the timer ends, it shuts off the heat, which is good compared to an Actifry that would keep on cooking with its quirky timer. Chips are great, no turning required (unless you are layering them in crazy portions). It is nice and compact, ideal for 2 people portion-wise for chips. Because it is small, it heats up quickly and this is often useful rather than waiting on a larger over or grill. I've used most other functions (PIzza, Grill, Toast) and they all perform well, though I've not tried baking in it yet. Couple of things to note: There is a removeable catchment tray (which is not stainless). This makes for reasonably easy cleaning if you tackle it quickly (this and the other removeable trays). However, I'd say you are best not to cook anything too fatty in it since it will make a real mess just like an oven, with steamy grease rising and covering the insides. There's not a lot of ventilation for heat escape and smoke tends to stream out the front. With an Actifry, the mess is captured mostly between the lid and tray (both removable), whereas this it is just the tray and you'll need to wash down grease inside time-to-time too or a dirty unit will create smoke. Finally I received my unit with a minor dent in the handle. Sage would not replace just the handle (two screws to remove) saying they didn't stock that part and wanted the whole thing back, which I thought was a bit ludicrous, since the machine itself was perfectly fine. So I'm not sure how available replacement parts are. Overall a good unit we use more than the oven and I'd buy again over an Actifry.

Fantastic oven, air-fryer, toaster and grill! Wonderful, stylish, compact design and extremely user-friendly in operation. The control knobs and buttons are so easy to use and the display is large and legible. No complicated screen menus, pointless touch screens or apps to download and no bending down to the floor to access your cooker. They really have created something fantastic here in terms of functionality, aesthetics and power-saving - I won’t be using a traditional oven again.

This is a fantastic oven and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I use the Toast function for the best toast ever; crunchy and evenly grilled. The Airfryer makes a fantastic job and is far better than other airfyers I have used. It is quick too compared to others. The Roast is quick and efficient. Reheat works perfectly and is a change from the microwave, it works great to reheat pizza. The Pizza function is superb! It’s like having your own pizza oven. I’ve not used bake yet. This is such a versatile piece and it makes such a good job of everything. It looks good, is fairly neat and it is extremely easy to operate. I love this and I can’t imagine life without it now!

Great oven, looks great and hears food quickly whilst looking premium, problem is., its difficult to keep clean, the elements at the bottom get splashed and are a nightmare to clean.

We have had this a year now and its is in daily use from toasting to cooking dinner. For a couple it's near perfect, I bought extra shelves and air fry basket direct from Sage - cheapest source too. Everything about the oven is just great except its not simple to clean (gets dirtier than larger ovens as the food is nearer the heating elements), it isn't really an air fryer - it just makes crunchy chips, chicken in the normal oven time stated on the bag. What I would do with the saved 3 mins is beyond me. Toast on both sides not always reliable (and any thickness from a wafer to a brick) but then adding cheese and grilling is a bonus Good size for plate warming - just a great oven which means our traditional ones aren't often used.

I have been wanting this for a while and now I have to say that it’s getting a lot of use. So far I have tried the bake, grill, toast, crumpet and air fry settings the most, plus roast. I have done a roast dinner in it, pork loin and roast potatoes in the same tray & it was good. The only downside is the cleaning. After roasting meat it is a bit of a task and the air fry setting - for anything that might drip or spray eg sausages - is messy but this is the only real the downside so far. I wanted a multi function cooker and also an air fryer and this ticks both those boxes nicely, all in one box. I’m sure a dedicated air fryer is always going to be easier to clean, but that air fryer can’t make toast, cook perfect crumpets, slow cook, grill or bake….and this Sage Pro can definitely do all of that, plus make great (for air fryer) chips! I’m glad I bought it despite the cleaning challenges. Fortunately there are plenty of cleaning tips online for me to learn from.

Nice product and well packaged. Works well but the unit gets very hot during cooking.

I’ve been using this oven for the past 4 months, and it’s been a great addition to my kitchen. Perfect for two people. I’ve used it to make pizzas, cakes, puffs, grilled dishes, baked meals, roasts, and toast — everything has turned out really well. Grilled items come out juicy and nicely browned, though like with any oven, you’ll need to manually flip and rotate the tray for even cooking. Baking and roasting require no attention once inside — just set and forget. Overall, a solid and versatile oven that’s easy to rely on for everyday cooking.

Great oven with compact but functional design. Better than a microwave for a fast reheat. The only problem I had with the oven was not being able to change the menu language to Arabic so it is easier to use for everyone.

the Sage oven is so good! chips superb

I am a big fan of Breville as a brand , I have been using the older version of this oven for over 8 years and there is nothing to say but a great product. The addition of the airfry option to the oven is a great one works perfectly, it saves space rather than having another airfryer and a toaster. Highly recommend.
