Former Dental Assistant here. Buy this product! Remember, This is NOT a toothpaste. It is a brush on fluoride for after you brush. I know fluoride is scary for some people. Think of it like anything else in large quantities. Fluoride in large quantities, is toxic of course. This is such a small amount that IS SAFE and made for us specifically. I've used fluoride my entire life and I'm happy to report I still, at 36 years old, don't have a single cavity. I never have. We use brush on fluoride all the time after cleanings and this stuff is quality. The best you can get without a prescription! It keeps your cavities away but what's even better is, when you have just a tiny bit of your enamel breaking down and getting ready to turn into a cavity, this will re-mineralize your enamel. It won't reverse a bad cavity but it will stop one from forming in the first place. This is an incredible price too. Do yourself a favor and save money and future dentist visits. Buy this!

I have bad tooth geneticd. Always have, despite my near obsessive-compulsive dental hygienics. I also have an eating disorder which is hard on your teeth. My enamel is pretty impacted. After about a week of using this stuff, I can actually see where parts of the enamel of my teeth are healing. My teeth are less discolored, also! I’m really happy with this stuff. I don’t have an issue with the taste; it’s fine, not terrible. Still remains to be seen whether it helps with sensitivity but I do have cavies currently so don’t take my word on that one. I find I’m waking up with less of a gross taste in my mouth too. Overall, I give this all the stars and all the recommendations for people looking to remineralize their teeth, and especially other people with disordered eating as it really effects our enamel!

I got this as an alternative to Crest Prohealth toothpaste with stannous fluoride, because it also contained sodium laurel sulfate that irritates and weakens my gums.

Using it for two weeks. I at times notice a difference but other times I don’t. Definitely leaves a funky taste. I’m hoping it’ll start to show results soon.

I clench my teeth hard at night and despite wearing a night guard I was starting to experience tooth discomfort on one side. My teeth were sore, sensitive to heat, and the enamel felt rough. My dentist didn’t see anything of concern and said it is common for one side to bear the brunt of clenching pressure even with a guard. I have only been using this product for 9 days and am amazed at the difference! No more tooth discomfort or sensitivity and the enamel already feel smoother! It is so easy to use and much less expensive than then in office treatment my dentist offers but insurance won’t cover. There is very little flavor so nothing unpleasant or overpowering.

This is the first at-home fluoride treatment I've tried, but after being charged three times more for a single treatment at the dentist's (which I'm sure is much stronger concentration etc.), I decided to give an at-home product a go. And I'm so glad I did! It's super simple to use after brushing (takes 10 seconds), and the places where my enamel had worn away/become rough (from grinding in my twenties) and where it was pulled off by some of my braces (when I was a kid three decades ago), have become noticeably smoother. And the rest of my teeth feel as smooth, slick, and lovely as the day I come home from a professional teeth cleaning. So while I can't _see_ any difference, the feel is noticeable, like it's doing a great job at re-mineralizing my enamel just like the professional treatment. Highly recommend!

Every time I visit the dentist I have to get fluoride treatment and they always want me to use a toothpaste called Fluoridex which has a lot more fluoride than over the counter toothpastes. I used it for a while but it's just so expensive that I had to stop (like $25 or more per 4 oz tube). This 3M Fluoride gel contains 0.4% stannous fluoride which is less than Fluoridex's 1.1% sodium Fluoride but is also way more affordable. I didn't know what the difference between the two kinds of fluoride were so before I bought this I asked Google and apparently stannous fluoride has additional benefits but can stain teeth. I've been using this for just over a week and haven't noticed any staining yet, so maybe it takes a while or maybe potential staining varies from person to person. I don't smoke or drink coffee or do anything else that would stain my teeth so if any staining does occur it will have to be because of this, and I'll make sure to update this review if it does happen. This stuff comes out as a clear gel and tastes and feels like the fluoride stuff the dentist puts on my teeth. I like this not because it tastes good (I actually don't think it tastes good or bad), but because it feels like I'm getting a professional daily fluoride treatment. I brush it on at night after I've done my regular brushing, then spit without rinsing so it remains on my teeth while I sleep. You're not supposed to eat or drink anything 30 minutes after application which is just like the Fluoridex toothpaste, and why I got into the habit of using it before bed instead of in the morning. After just over a week of use I've already noticed reduced sensitivity so either it's psychological or this stuff is working.
