The best feel under hands, great successor to the K800
I currently have two PC setups on my desk. Right now I am WFH for about a month, I took home my PC tower, the mouse, and keyboard. The keyboard is a Logitech K270 and the mouse is a M185 - the IT department purchases these two peripherals as a combo and issues them to all of us at the workplace. For years I go to work, use the keyboard and mouse without issue, and come home and use my personal devices - and don't think much of it. However, having both of them running simultaneously, I seriously can't get over just how much better the Logitech MX Keys is. Every time I have to switch over to my work K270 I just wish I had another Logitech MX Keys. It's such a contrast, that I'm thinking of purchasing another one for my work computer, and just taking it back to the office with me when my WFH stint is over. The MX keys has a very nice low profile design, and the keys can be struck quickly. I can type so much more quickly on this keyboard. The overall budget nature and just the design of the tall keys with budget switches just doesn't lend itself to quick typing. With the MX keys your fingers just flow from press to press and you don't have to wonder if the keystroke is going to register or not. The only reason I got the MX Keys, is I was using a very legendary, but very legacy Logitech K800. That was my favorite keyboard (until the MX keys). It was getting dirty over the years, so I decided I would take it apart and clean it. All was going well until I tried to re-assemble it. Somehow I had broken the little retaining clips on about 25% of the keys when I removed them. (Note to all you K800 owners, be very careful if you try to refresh this keyboard, I thought I could do it willy-nilly but there is definitely a trick to removing the key-caps.) I did purchase a second one of these to use with my living room gaming PC. (So yeah, I might purchase a third for work. It is just that good.)

Awesome Keyboard that Exceeded My Expectations
This is the best keyboard I have ever owned in my life. I love the fact that I can press one button to instantly change from my desktop to my laptop. One of the best features is that this keyboard uses Bluetooth as well as Wi-fi connections. That means I don't need a dongle for my new laptop which doesn't have many USB ports available. Also, even though it is wireless - which in itself is a great feature - it has a long battery life when using the backlit keys. The charging port uses USB type C for faster charging. The best feature is the auto backlight feature. The moment you place your hand over the keys to start typing, the backlight comes on until you are done typing then times out. The backlight is easily adjusted from off, to low, all the way to very bright levels. The auto backlight feature saves on battery life and was very ingenious of Logitech. The ergonomics are great too. The keys are very soft, and very quiet, especially if you are doing any type of video content. You can buy a very inexpensive translucent cover that is a perfect fit and protects against spills, dust, or cookie crumbs, whatever. I use it even during the typing. This is also a perfect match for the Logitech M720 mouse.

Higher quality than what I expected.
This keyboard replaces a wireless Logitech keyboard I bought three years ago and needed to replace when one of the plastic feet broke. At the very least, I know that won’t be a problem with this keyboard. I didn’t spend a lot of time researching, as I was happy enough with the predecessor that I went looking for another Logitech product with a similar form factor and key layout. This was the first item that came up, so I bought it. I was surprised by its heft when I first picked it up. The rechargeable battery compartment along the top also serves as the feet creating a proper incline. This might be a negative if you routinely prop your keyboard on your legs as I sometimes do as it is heavy. I mainly type on my desk with adequate support of the heels of my hand that weight isn’t an issue, and I appreciate the solid feel of the thing. The spacing and responsiveness of the keys are about as good as any keyboard of this size. Touch typing seems to be quicker and more accurate than the K360 this is replacing. I don’t yet have any sense of battery life between charges, but the keyboard can be connected to power with a USB-C cable (a short one is included) and can be used while charging. Set up was easy with the included dongle (it worked right out of the box). There is an option to set up with multiple computers and switch between them using one of three keys.

Thus far, LOVE this keyboard!
Been using Logitech keyboards & mice for decades. I had two corded illuminated Logitech K740 keyboards, which I loved...so easy to type on & quiet & with great features. Sadly, both were showing wear with key labels wearing off & one suddenly popped the backspace key. One can find used K740 keyboards & a few new ones, but the used ones I've seen are not in great condition & too expensive for a used keyboard. I tried to get the popped key back in place, but hours of trying, I could not get it back on to save my life. I contacted Logitech, but never pursued anything with them. I ended up buying an inexpensive corded illuminated keyboard here on Amazon. It's OK, but the touch is nothing like my two K740. I decided to bite the bullet and spend the money on this Bluetooth wireless MX Keys. I honestly think the touch may be even better than my two K740 keyboards. I can type very fast on this new one. The response is excellent. I'm not a gamer, so no idea how it would work in that regard, but I find it to be a terrific keyboard. I would definitely buy an additional one when I get a new desktop or lap top. I did have to try about 3 times to get the software installed, but it was a minor problem. I've not used it enough to know how the battery life is and have thus far been using it for 2 days plugged into power source. I'm very impressed with this keyboard. It is too bad that Logitech has discontinued the K740. If they do repairs, I would send both to be refurbished, but have my doubts if they do that sort of thing.

The new and "improved" K800
I have been a Logitech K800 user since that keyboard was released many years ago. I have owned at least four of them for different systems, and have convinced others to purchase them as well. When I needed to get yet another keyboard, I decided to try the Logitech MX Keys. Essentially, it is an updated version of the K800. In almost all respects, this keyboard is better. FORM FACTOR: The Logitech MX Keys is physically much smaller than the MX keys, although the actual keyboard area itself is just about the same size. The difference is that the K800 has a built in palm rest as well as a large empty top area, and empty space around the sides. The MX Keys is much more minimalistic - with very small bezel areas around the keyboard keys. It is also very thin but has a good weight to it. I like the feel of it and the build quality quite a lot. My only complaint in this regard is that it doesn't have any adjustable legs and it lays quite flat on the desk. Not totally flat, but it has very little angle and you can't adjust it. I had to purchase a plastic keyboard raising tray to get the angle I like. KEYBOARD: The keys have a good feel to them - very much like the K800 but a little more refined. This is not a mechanical keyboard. It feels a lot like a laptop keyboard but the keys are indented, not flat, so your fingers have a place to rest in the keys. The backlighting is decent, although not super bright. It is about on par with the K800 but maybe a little more evenly lit. It is a single color, blueish white. There are multiple levels of brightness and you can adjust them and have auto lighting detection on or off. Now the caps lock keys has an indicator on the key when it is active. The Alt and CTRL keys are dual-labeled for Mac use; the top row of F keys is dual-purposed for use with Windows or Mac. I would like to have seen the F keys row spaced a bit farther apart from the regular keys, and/or have them have a different size/shape (like the K800). On the MX Keys these are basically another row of keys just like the other keys. Some may prefer this, but I like F keys to be separated. Also, I don't particularly care for the placement of the volume keys - I liked them in the very upper right like the K800. On the MX Keys, they blend in too much with the other keys and I find it hard to pinpoint them quickly when I need to adjust the volume. On the contrary, others may find the keys they have now placed in the upper right that are easy to find quickly to be more useful. FEATURES: The features of this keyboard are where the biggest improvements over the K800 lay. It has the ability to connect to 3 different devices. Each of these 3 profiles can be a unified receiver, or a bluetooth connection. You can connect all 3 to unifying receivers if you have extra ones (the keyboard comes with one), or you can have all 3 profiles connected to bluetoothe devices, or mix and match. You can use this keyboard with Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, or whatever. They have also switched to using USB C charging, which is nice. PROS: * Smaller, minimalistic design * 3 separate connection profiles * Compatible with Windows, Mac, iOS, Android * Each profile can support a (different) unifying receiver, or bluetooth * Caps lock key has indicator light * USB C charging * Very quiet operation * Even backlighting * Keys have a good feel for this style of keyboard * Good build quality - heavy enough that it won't slide around on your desk CONS: * You need to provide your own palm rest * Lays too flat, no height adjustability - no legs * Placement of mute and volume keys not optimal * I feel the keys are slightly more cramped than the older K800 Overall, if you like this type of keyboard over a mechanical keyboard, this is a versatile keyboard updated to fit the modern era. It has exceptional features, and although I take issue with some of the design choices, that is very subjective and mostly related to what you are used to.

Very happy with my purchase!
A tactile treat - keyboard is like butter, silky-smooth and elegant. For someone like me, who's a fast touch-typist, this keyboard delivers.

Easily switch between 3 devices!!!!
This product is incredible! Aside from being a great keyboard with a responsive feel and great feedback from the keys, the extra features make this a multi-tasking powerhouse! I have this paired (either bluetooth, or USB unifying receiver) to my work laptop, personal laptop, and iphone 11. It's amazing to be able to switch over to my phone and fire off texts quickly during the work-day and then flip right back to work mode. Also, media/function keys (music, brightness controls, etc) work on iphone. Overall, a perfect compliment to my MX Ergo trackball. The only negative that I have to mention is that the bluetooth pairing doesn't stay connected when I restart my macbook pro. At home, I have my laptop on a vertical stand tucked behind my monitor, so anytime I restarted, I would have to take the laptop out to log back in using the built-in keyboard/trackpad. Once logged in, the keyboard/trackball would pair again automatically. At first, I thought this was a Mac issue, but then Logitech posted a support article on their website detailing this issue. Turns out, you just need to use the USB unifying receiver to fix the issue. Not really a big deal, but a little annoying to have to do this and then bluetooth pair when I'm on the go and don't want the receiver hanging out of a port on my laptop where it could get caught on something and cause damage to my laptop. Logitech should be able to fix this with a software update, so maybe I'll have to revisit this review if they ever do.

Keyboard plays well with my imac
Best keyboard I have ever used. Hands down. Or keys down. I like everything about it. It's size, small footprint, or handprint. The weight is nice. Connectivity is easy. Charge lasts a long time. Days, although I keep a usbc cable close or sometimes plugged in. I have a wireless phone charger next to my computer and the keyboard has a button to connect to my phone, and when I get a text, I can respond on the phone via the keyboard. Brilliant! Love this keyboard. I will buy again if I had to. Don't know why I ever would but if so, I'm getting another unless they up this model with I don't know what could make it better really. Dope piece of gear. It's quality and worth it all-around. I don't even want to mention price. It's quality. Pay for it. That simple. Last keyboard for your computer you'll need. For me it is. ✊🏾

Great wireless keyboard
I have been a Logitech fan for a long time - since my first trackball purchased many years ago. The keyboard is as described, battery life is excellent and look and feel of this back-lit unit is perfect. Depending on where you place the keyboard when not in use and turned on, sometimes it lights up seemingly on it's own but it just seems to pick up movements you don't expect. Easily cleaned, liquid resistant with all the full-size keyboard features you need as well as having programmable keys. The Logitech+ fob picked up my MxErgo mouse with no problem. Even having a premium price tag . . . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Excelente

Another great product of Logitech
It's been two months of use, I charged only once. Connection is swift with the laptop/IPad. Backlight is handy, the only issue is there is no setting in the app to keep the backlight on for more than 5 seconds. It detect the movements and switch on the backlight but fail to detect the hand on the keyboard, off after few seconds. Only way to bring it back is move the hand over the keyboard which is annoying when you working overnight. Hope this can easily be fixed with software update.
