Longleaf Pine Straw Roll for Landscaping - Non-Colored - Covers Up to 125 Square Feet

My first pine straw project. They are good quality and the color is just right. Will be buying more for my future garden projects!

I love this pine straw. It is expensive, but I love it. It does not have sticks in it and things don’t stab you easy to Layout.

This worked perfect and looks great in the flower beds. I would buy again.

I originally ordered 2 of these round bales along with a seperate order from Ace called Cleanstraw, which is a compressed bale of long leaf pine needles, I ordered 3 of those. I wanted to do a comparison between the two and there were a few differences. The round bales were very clean as opposed to the Cleanstraw product which had a lot of small branches and pine cones in the mix. The round bales were 98% pine needles, the Cleanstraw was 90% needles. I felt that the coverage from the compressed bales was better as long as you really separate and fluff it up and apart. I ordered a third round bale and was very disappointed in the coverage of that particular bale. I don't know how they determine the bale size of their product, but there was a stark difference between the first 2 and the last one. I can get 3 compressed bales from Ace for the price of one of these round bales. To finish my project, I ended up getting 3 more Cleanstraw bales, I feel the amount in each bale is very consistent compared to this product. These round bales of good quality, packaged very well, and arrived earlier than expected. I do believe that there is a lot of variance in the amount per bale, which is problematic when you're trying to calculate coverage. I hope this was helpful to you in planning your project.

This is my first time using Pinestraw in the Midwest and I absolutely love it. It's very clean, super easy to apply and looks great. I had a space at the back of my property that I cleaned up from invasive vines, leveled out and applied the pinestraw. So far the high winds and rain haven't affected it.

If I could give this pine straw from this company a 15 I would. I live in the south and want to garden without over using our precious water. I have tried a few different vendors. All loaded with sticks large and small. The last batch had slim branches with thorns! Ouch. This straw is perfect and the only one I ever order from again.

Too little for the money.

I usually use the box of pine straw but this is great! It stays in the roll (relatively, it is straw) and was easy for me with my back.
