What happens if the mug is left empty or inactive?

The mug automatically enters sleep mode when empty or after 2 hours of inactivity and reactivates with movement or liquid detection.

Do I need the app for the mug to work effectively?

The Ember Mug functions well with or without the app. Without the app, it will maintain a default temperature of 57°C. With the app, the mug remembers the temperature you last set, so you don't have to open the app every time you use it.

Is my Ember safe to leave on the charger?

Yes! When the battery is fully charged, the charging is shut off automatically, so no battery damage will occur.

Is the Ember Mug easy to clean?

Yes, the mug has a scratch-resistant coating and is IPX7 rated, making it fully submersible up to 1 meter for easy hand washing ONLY. Do not use it in the dishwasher or microwave.
