Properties: Immunostimulant (increases inspecific defences), activates the formation of leukocytes; bacteriostatic, blocks hyaluronidase, thus preventing the spread of infections, favouring the healing of wounds. Anti-heat, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, aperitif, digestive, choleretic, sialagogo, diaphoretic. Instructions: Very useful in prophylaxis and supplementary of respiratory diseases: flu, common cold, pharyngitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, bronchitis. Dyeing is used in the form of dental abscesses and in baths, ointments or compresses on burns, purulent wounds, foruncules, acne, inflammation or dermal ulcerations. Dosage: Indoor use: - Decoction: One teaspoon per cup. Boil for 5 minutes. Three mugs per day. - Fluid extract (1:1): 15-30 drops once to three times a day. - Dyeing (1:10): 50 drops, once to three times a day. - (5% fluid extract): one to three tablespoons a day. - Dry extract (5:1): 150-300 mg per day (1g equals 5g of dry ). External use: - Healing ointment (10% tinting, 90% lanoline) - Dressings: 30% diluted dye in water.
