I love this keypad. Though it is battery operated, it is magnetic so that all you have to do is remove the pad from the metal mounting plate and charge it. This gives a homeowner a lot of flexibility as to where to place the pad. So far I’ve had no connection problems and it’s worked as advertised.

Bought this as an extra keypad, easy magnetic mount. The keypad is charged using a micro usb Cable. It lasts for months. The square and triangle buttons don’t do anything in abode platform but they can be programmed to run automations or devices and scenes at least with HomeKit.

Works well, very well built. Super strong magnets. I’m going to order another.

Works really well and looks good too. The motion sensor is very helpful and so are the customizable buttons, especially if you’re using Apple HomeKit. It can be a little frustrating to clear previous false alarms but it still works fine

This is the best wireless keypad on the market. If you have Abode you got to get the keypad. Eufy, Arlo, ring or any other keypads don't come near it. Honestly the keypad is part of the reason I went with an Abode system in the first place. The auto on off illumination of the keys from motion sensing is excellent. With USB-C port for recharging.

1 star for becoming a complacent company and not upgrading this to USB C. Otherwise the keypad works well.

I have had this keypad for several months now, and I have had the previous version for close to a year. I like this newer version for the larger buttons and motion sensing. I like the clearer visual indications of the system status too, but I don't prefer the rechargeable nature of the new keypad. This is positive in the long run, since there is a motion sensor built in. I just feel like the battery life of the previous model was phenomenal. I guess I just don't know how many recharges one can get out of the internal battery pack, but it is supposed to last for up to 6 months on a charge. I never let the battery get low so I can't comment on that. The wall mounting hardware for the new model is also top notch quality. I would give this a 4.5 if I could. All in all, it is an improvement over the previous generation and still checks all the boxes.

I don't typically write reviews, that said this is the best Keypad I've had for a security system. I've had Vivint, Blue by ADT, Nest Secure, etc. That said many of the security companies out there either have a low quality built Keypad or try to make the Keypad have more functionality than anyone needs or wants. Abode hit the mark with this. High quality; built in motion sensor; rechargeable battery so you don't need to hardwire anything; and just a great looking keypad - if you can believe a keypad looks good.Would definitely recommend this purchase if you have an Abode security system.
