Buffalo Games Star Wars - The Mandalorian - The Child - 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

It seems 'easy' but takes time. Nice to play with it with friends or family.

Bought this puzzle as part of our COVID-19-things-to-do since we cannot go out. It was a fun, challenging puzzle. I definitely underestimated how long a 500 piece puzzle would take. In total I spent about 2 days on it, working on it throughout breaks in the day when nothing was going on. The most challenging part of the puzzle are the darker areas of the armor. Individually many pieces look similar in shade until you get them placed. I got to the point near the end when I had to take the few remaining pieces and try in each available place. LOL And there are many pieces that you think "fit" but it's not the perfect fit that you get when it's the right piece. When I read the reviews of a small remainder of pieces that don't fit it makes me think that those people accidentally placed a piece that "fit" but was not the perfect fit. Seriously good fun. I wish these puzzles weren't so expensive or I'd buy more. But all 500 piece puzzles with good designs are at this price point so I guess that is the market value. I haven't had the heart to dismantle my puzzle yet, but I will... soon.

I preordered mine and it arrived in a padded envelope, the box was undamaged. Took me maybe 4-6 hours to put together, there were no missing pieces but should you find any you should be able to get replacement pieces for your puzzle from the manufacturer. The image is artistic (think similar to the end credits images) and not a photograph, that means there are a lot of stylistic lines and edges and with so many similar color tones it can be a little challenging to put together. The pieces fit well together, no loose movement and there was very little puzzle dust. I like this puzzle and hope they put out more of the child, maybe one where he is using the force or eating the frog. *hint* Considering the color tones in this puzzle I'm glad it wasn't a larger puzzle.

Probably the most lit and productive thing I've done in my spare time during these times of quarantine. 10/10 would recommend this puzzle for people looking for something to do indoors that doesn't involve staring at a TV or video games all day. Moderate level of difficulty ~ I did the puzzle alone, took roughly 6 hours (unsure if that's fast or slow, maybe I'm not the quickest puzzle assembler - still felt pretty good about myself though) Easy to put baby yoda together as well as the sky, but due to the pixel quality of the puzzle, it was a bit tricky and time consuming putting the Mandolorian guy together because almost his entire back and helmet are the same speckled colors. Since we realistically don't have a whole lot going on in our free time nowadays, this puzzle was worth the time/challenge, and fun! Will order more puzzles in the near future. Well, this puzzle was much more difficult than I expected from one containing only 500 pieces. The fact that the image is somewhat blurry and out of focus probably didn't help matters any either. The lighter area I started on first and it was easy enough but the darker area was a guessing game with more misses than hits. The completed puzzle measures approximately 15 inches by 21 and 1/4 inches and is recommended for those 14 and older. Unfortunately this one was not made in the USA but China. It did arrive with the bonus poster though which really came in handy for seeing some of the very tiny details which definitely helped. I'll be honest and say this puzzle really frustrated me at times however and I was glad when I finally finished it. The quality wasn't the greatest either as I had a lot of pieces that were either bumped, chipped, or peeling. Overall it was still a good value and perfect for all Star Wars fans, especially those of The Mandalorian =)

Not only is this puzzle exciting as a Mando fan but also as a Star Wars fan! I couldn’t wait to get started on it! Once I opened it and started piecing together the “outer rim” 😂 I was DELIGHTED to find that the puzzle pieces were a great size, not to big and not to small! Once I started on filling it in, I was MORE excited to find that it was challenging without being maddening!! Total spent 4 hours straight puzzling with a few smoke breaks. All in all, a GREAT puzzle for one person, or a family!!!! Put on some Star Wars or Mando and you have yourself a heck of an evening in!!!! Recommend d to all!

Great Buffalo Games puzzle as always. I like how they don’t waste plastic (they glue the boxes shut and the pieces are loose inside). Really cute artwork. Lots of brown, so there is an element of challenge. I prefer 1000 piece puzzles, so I hope they eventually do a Baby Yoda in 1000 piece count. Good quality pieces, better than Ceaco but not as good as White Mountain. I built it the day it came. Great for Mandalorian fans.

I read the reviews on this puzzle and was worried it would either be missing pieces or with pieces that fit into multiple places. Then, I realized...... IT'S A PUZZLE! IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE CHALLENGING! But, I will say -- it was pretty hard. The image is pretty grainy, so it gets pretty tricky when trying to determine which part is helmet, body armor, etc. Either way, it's done. This is the way. This is also the 2nd Mandalorian puzzle I've done. Both were super hard. Soooo, if you like a challenge, enjoy!!

The quality of the puzzle pieces is decent and is worth the price you pay for it. Pieces do fit right for the most part. Giving it a 3 stars because the picture quality was very poor. It's like taking a picture on your phone and then zooming in so much that the quality becomes super pixilated. This also made the process of putting a puzzle together difficult and boring since the end result meant that it was not worth framing or keeping. We own a few designs from this company and had better luck with picture quality. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this one.

Wow. This puzzle was crazy cool. It has 500 pieces, although to be honest I didn’t count them all, I’m just taking their word for it. And the pieces fit together perfectly, like a puzzle should. Crazy right?

Llegó en el tiempo especificado, súper buen rompecabezas, si viene un poco pixeleado pero una vex que lo finalizas se ve muy lindo. No faltó ninguna pieza pero pon mucha atención para que no te confundas entre las piezas, nos pasó varias veces.

El rompecabezas es de excelente calidad, todas sus piezas completas y embonan a la perfección. El acabado final increíble. Tiene cierto grado de dificultad lo que mantiene interés sin ser desesperante. La imagen por naturaleza es algo píxeleada, se nota en la foto que muestran del artículo, no demerita su calidad.
