Draw the Circle: The 40 Day Prayer Challenge

Very good! This was a blessing to read. I have drawn my circles and the Lord is already moving. My favorite part of this book is the emphasis that we can ask the Lord anything but the part is to get into His will and watch how He moves.

This was a great book. We completed it with a group of prayer women, we created a list of prayers from all the members in the group and every night at 8pm from where we were we would pray the list and read the book. Wonderful experience!!

This book has connected me with prayer and visual references in an. AMAZing way. I am grateful for the faith filled testimonies.

I don’t know how to really rate nonfiction. I should probably give this a 5 star, but I did 4. Why? I don’t know. The point values are made up and the score doesn’t exist. Anyways, so many great quotes in this book and some ah-ha moments for me as well. This was great to use to challenge myself to specifically pray for 1 certain things for 40 days. “Work like it depends on you, but pray like it depends on God.” So basic, and yet so true. Want breakthrough in your relationship with food? Work like it depends on you, but pray like it depends on God. Need better organization and focus on the job? “Work like it depends on you, but pray like it depends on God.” Faith without works is dead, and this statement just helped to bring that to a real life application concisely for me. Enjoyed it. Will most likely reread this book.

While I do differ theologically with Batterson on a few things I must admit that this book opened my mind and the members of the church I pastor towards expanding the possibilities and depth of prayer. It is a journey of expansive faith.

Bought one for me and one for my husband. We pray together. Helps you in daily prayer and a more meaningful prayer life. Great read. When finished we intend on passing these books on to other people to enrich their prayer life.

A must read! Short, easy to understand and powerful chapters. Our Life Group did it in 40 weeks! Plenty to discuss each week! Each chapter an encouragement to draw closer in our relationship with the Lord through prayer. This is one of those books one hoped would not end so soon.

Just coming to the end of my prayer circle challenge with a group and have really enjoyed this book! Really great read! The chapters are short but impactful and the storytelling is wonderful. I’m looking forward to doing a prayer circle again.
