How much does the rod weigh?

I weighed the rod on our food scale. 2.45 oz !!!! Insanely light. The Little bag weight more. The sections are about 18"

Hi a question this rod can go into a normal bag

I can tell you that it did so in my regulation size suit case. Would not fit in a carry on bag. Total length of bag is 25”.

Regarding the 5'6" rod, how long is the longest pole segment? I want to put this in motorcycle panniers if possible.

I don’t know the actual measurement , I am currently out of the country or I would measure the rod sections for you — but the rod fits easily in the hard sadldlebags on my 2020 Harley Davidson Sport Glide, these hard bags are quite a bit smaller than the typical Harley touring bike hard bags —I hope this may help
