Savannah Historic District Illustrated Map.

The amount of detail in this map is incredible. Local attractions, history, pointers, trivia, legends, etc. All easy to understand and still use as a map! It's printed on some kind of heavier paper with a plastic-like finish, so far so good, but it will probably wear a bit if you're taking the map in & out of a bag or pocket all day. Used it to take daily AM walks on vacation and find cool things to check out. Also for planning visits to touristy stuff. It has all the squares identified, all the streets, free transit routes, lists of info, and so on. Just get this if you're going to Savannah!

I bought this as I was visiting Savannah for a week with my husband and wanted an easy to read map that minimized our arguments in the middle of the street! I am notoriously bad on directions and reading maps, so ANYTHING that makes it easier for me is welcome. I LOVE this map. I found it super easy to use and get my bearings. It is a great size to carry around. Folds easily. Not only that, it contains some interesting facts and tourist information. Even my husband thought it was good, and he is a 'just give me the facts' kind of guy. I bought a few books on Savannah, but this was by far the most useful and ultimately the most used of them. I would definitely recommend this map and will look for the same series when visiting other places. I also purchased Haunted Savannah Illustrated Map , which was also very good - but personally I found the Historic district one most useful.

Just a fun map to explore. And to use as a walking guide or just to enjoy looking at. Price was far above the print price. So you may want to buy in Savannah if traveling to Savannah. You could likely confirm at a local bookstore. PS Savannah is even more fun than this great map.

Used this map on a recent trip to Savannah. I found it nice to get a high level summary look of the highlights of Savannah in a convenient size. Pictures and writing are easily legible. Only complaint I have is that the map is not North oriented which made it a bit more difficult to decipher. I would recommend.

Excellent maps

So glad I had this map for our one day self guided tour of historic Savannah. Many interesting facts on the map. Having the bottom of the map at the riverfront made sense to me and made it easier to use for someone with no prior knowledge of Savannah. We could always tell whether to turn right or left, or towards the water or away, to get to locations we wished to find. If you have a short time as we did, be sure to study it before hand to make the most of your time, and mark the places you most want to see.

My family used this on a recent trip to Savannah. It was a great help knowing what was close to the house we rented for our vacation. It also showed all the squares and some interesting historical places as well. Highly recommended.

This is a great map of Savannah, it's the nicest that I've ever seen. The map is beautifully illustrated so you not only see the historic-district laid out nicely, but you can recognize a lot of the buildings from the illustrations. I would kind of like to see a laminated version of this map (I'm tough on maps), but it is nicely printed on a pretty water-resistant coated paper. For the money, I'm thrilled that I bought this map and I think if you're visiting Savannah for the first time, you'll be very happy you bought it.
