FabLife 86-0030 Dressing Stick

I’ve had 3 knee replacements, 1 hip replacement and now I’m in extreme pain awaiting for my other hip replacement. I live alone and have to find health objects that can well assist me. I was first introduced to a similar stick in rehab back in 2003. However, it’s long gone and I needed help getting my socks on. So I purchased 2!!! Once you get the hang of using a stick in each hand and maneuver the sock on you’re in good shape. I love these sticks better then the plastic thing you put your sock on. Then you’ve got to manipulate your foot, push it through and pull on 2 strings on each side. No other use for that kizmo. The sticks can also be used for multiple uses. Ex. help with lifting clothes etc you drop on the floor, hold open one side of a shopping bag and when I sit on my bed I use the smal hook to reach up to pull the ceiling light & fan chains. No brainer on this purchase. Also great price!!

I have limited shoulder movement on one side. I wear a pull on bra which I can get over my head and arms. This tool allows me to hook the center back of the bra and push it the rest of the way down into place. It also allows me to hook the bottom and push up when I am ready to undress. Not sure how to use the single cup hook like end -- I use the small single hook to hang it on a peg so it is handy to reach.

I am of some fairly severe range of motion limited. This stick has helped greatly putting underwear and pants on. It's so simple to use but sadly couldn't find and instructions or videos on how to best use. I was using to help take off my socks but metal was bending where it goes into the wood shaft that would be a fatigue area. If you are having dressing issues I suggest you try this and dress in a seated position, such as a bed.

I use it to hang up my clothes and other things. Great tool!

I bought this dressing stick prior to my hip replacement surgery and found it very helpful the first few weeks after the surgery for getting on underwear since I couldn't bend over very far. It was not expensive, but it is very sturdy and should last for a long time. I'm keeping it for future use!

Make putting on pants much easier. Smoothly slide legs into pants

Wood to thick could be longer and the one the one like hook is to thick can not get it under scocks
