great case. Hard case and protect my ballistic glasses

Really good hard case. I was hoping to replace the one that came as a set with the ESS ICE, not the same. Didn't have the inserts for spare lenses.

This item is pretty much exactly as it looks in the item profile, minus the white box. One thing, however, was misleading to me. The title says this is a "hard protective case" -- I disagree. It certainly is not a soft case, that is, one that amounts to being mere cloth over your glasses. But I have some "hard" cases for my glasses, and they are just that: hard, solid, non-crushable; you could throw them against a wall. This case is not hard; it's somewhere in-between soft and hard. I can crush it with my bare hands with average effort. Yet, if I place it between my hands and act as if I were trying to clap my hands, it does protect against that (in my experience). I was hoping for a truly hard case, which is why I'm not satisfied with this one. Perhaps this case does qualify as "hard" under some classification scheme made up by some official glasses-case industry; but then I disagree with their classification system.

If you own a set of ESS glasses, this is a must. Great case for protecting your range glasses while they are in the bag!

Great case! Instead of buying a ESS combo I bought the suppressor frame and an extra lens. Considering the price of the frame and lenses, I only wish the case was included!! Perfect size and smaller then the combo case!

Fits my ESS Crossbow and a second lens.Not completely crush-proof but will work well in a pack or on your gear to keep the glasses from getting scratched or broken under most circumstances.

Apparently ESS makes more than one style of Cross series hard cases. I already have another case that came with my ESS eyewear; that case matches the picture and description of this product. What I received is different. It is larger, and it has a foam insert the holds the glasses and a spare lens (foam held in by a couple dabs of glue). But this isn't what I wanted. I wanted the smaller case that holds just the glasses without the foam insert. And here's a weird observation, the zipper goes in the opposite direction from every picture I found of the ESS case. Attention to detail... is this a cheap Chinese knockoff? Or are these the ESS QA rejects? Yeah, that quality assurance part... like another reviewer mentioned, the stitching on the webbing popped off. I didn't need to pull hard; I merely flicked it with my finger tip and the webbing fell off. And the main webbing that is suppose to weave through, it is too short and sewn on wrong. So the whole molle system is useless. Even if I restitch the cross webbing, I will need to completely replace the main webbing that has the snap on it. Not happy. And golly, no gift box like they promised. (Like that was a real selling point.)

CROSSBOW用に、2個購入した。 米軍のAuthorized Protective Eyewear List［APEL］の緑色ステッカーが貼られたビニール袋入りで到着。 チャックの始点と終点の縫い付け部分にほつれ止めの円形のシールが貼り付けられているのだが、ロット違いなのか生地の質が若干違うが双方に大差は無い良い仕上がり。 チャックが閉じてさえいれば、どの方向から圧力がかかってもハードケースは変形しないだろう。 価格が安いとは言い難い値付けだが、しっかりとしたケースで衝撃から中身のCROSSBOWを保護してくれるだろうと期待している。

他の方も書かれてますが、専用ケースの中で一番の ハード仕様です。 MOLLEシステム対応なので、取り付け方も幅が広がります 買って良かったと思える一品です。

ケースはいいです。大事なサングラスを保護するには必須ですね。
