Paper Mate 85581 FlexGrip Elite Retractable Ballpoint Pens, Medium Point, Blue, 12 Count

These are the only pens I buy for work as a nurse. Non smearing ink, easy writing, pleasantly clicky with a little additional grip. It's basically the perfect cheap pen and I have to buy them online because I've never seen one in a store.

These pens are great, though they need to update the photo, since it doesn't quite match. However, I didn't get these pens because they look cool. I got them because they write and draw well without gumming up blobs of ink or skipping, etc. I'm an industrial designer, so I write with block lettering (lots of short strokes) and not cursive, and most ball-point pens don't deliver consistent ink to the page with this type of writing. Most ball-point pens also tend to gather up blobs of ink when drawing longer lines (as with sketching) and will often dump ink blobs on the page unexpectedly. These pens write and draw very smoothly, and are currently my favorite ball-point pens.

Even tho I'm on a computer all day, every day, I still love the tactile sensation of writing things out on a tablet. Because of this, over the years, I've received many different pens/sets as gifts, some quite pricey, I'm sure. At the end of the day, these are my go-to. They are so comfortable, never wear a sore spot, and just last forever.

The pen is nice and fits comfortably in my hand. It also writes fairly smooth, just not as good as I was hoping.

I really like these for grip-ability.... They write well and have a medium point...these are my favorite AND they don't seem to walk off from my desk like others always do.... : )

Bought these on the basis of some glowing reviews. They really are very ordinary. What really turns me off about them is they have a lot of drag, i.e. you have to press down a bit and they don't write easily. I have arthritis in my hands and like a pen with an easier flow. Moreover, the written results are just average, lighter and less like real ink than I like. That said, they are nice and light and don't leave globs of ink when you write.

I used these for years in my office. They are soft on my fingers. I like a medium black point. They last a long time. I couldn't find them locally

I have been using these for a few years and always seem to need more so I was glad to find a box of these for a good price. These are comfortable while using and they work well. I just wish my hubby and kids would stop taking them because they are the only ones i prefer to use.

I like the feel of these pens in my hand.

Light weighted and smooth

Nice grip. Easy flowing. Has a clip.

Nice pens but not what I thought I was ordering
