Good stuff for stamina and for mens vitality

This was my first experience with black maca. It certainly helped with my energy levels. Taste-wise it coupled perfectly with a bit of cacao and coconut milk. I will certainly keep exploring this brand. This time of year there are a lot of Christmas cookies around, so I will not blame this product for my blood sugar being a bit higher, but I will keep an eye on it.

The product arrived on time. So far I'm very pleased with the early results. I'm experiencing more energy and alertness. Better sleep also. My job requires a lot of standing and moderate walking.. so the results are apparent.

I've tried a couple high end black maca powders from different brands, and this one is the best, easily. Much more potent than a 6:1 gelatinized black maca extract I also finished recently (which surprised me because on paper, the 6:1 gelatinized black maca should be stronger). I was taking a tablespoon of this stuff every day and I agree with the other reviewers - too much will probably leave you tense and jacked up. Dose intelligently... especially if you're a single guy (if you have any familiarity with the effects of maca you can connect the dots here). Taste and smell is very authentic, and palatable. I mix it in a blender bottle with true lemon wildberry lemonade powder (should be available at most grocery stores) and it's delicious. Over the years I've taken probably a hundred different herbal extract powders, and maca, while not a favorite herb of mine per se is one of the best in terms of bang for your buck. It's easier to get good maca from a reputable brand at a fair price, than schizandra for instance. This brand especially - this is dare I say connoisseur black maca for $2/oz. Whoever sourced this stuff deserves a raise.

This is strange and brilliant stuff. Helps cognition. Why I got it, but I was skeptical. From the very start, there was a slight period of brain fog lift immediately after drinking it, and I could tell there was a longer lasting effect after the 3rd week of doing this 4x a week, and the improvement has not been temporary (I've now been on it for over 6 months). I test such things directly with brain puzzles. At first I thought it might be too expensive to maintain, but at my low dosage (I use some other things as well for my cognition/memory) and its effectiveness, I've decided to keep it in my budget. The price here is really, really good compared to what is on the market, and I truly like that it is organic. I also feel more emotionally balanced after drinking it. I make cocoa with this, hot water and stevia.Have to put some hot water in cup first and blend well, or it clumps. Keep stirring throughout or it settles. Has a unique earthy flavor which reminds me mildly of cooked turnips combined with raw parsnips. It is a nice contrast to my organic decaf coffee and matcha.

As the title says, has bit of a nutty flavor to it. It's best to mix with banana milkshake. I felt little effect in energy. Although I think because it's not the gelatinized. Scent was ok. You're better off saving your money and going with regular maca.
