I know that you might be looking for cheaper because you aren't sure if you will love the sport but last thing you want are chea
Colorado Snowboard instructor. So I purchased these for those cloudy days and need the lenses to pop the terrain out so I can notice the bumps and jumps that are in front of me. If you have a "newer" snowboarder and looking for some affordable goggles these would be for you. I know that you might be looking for cheaper because you aren't sure if you will love the sport but last thing you want are cheap goggles that fog up and account for many injuries on the mountain. I know many other say fog resistance but as soon as they get wet..which they will if your snowboarder is new and likely to fall, the heat from your body and the snow cold will keep them foggy and difficult to see. These are great for the cloudy and even when the sun is coming out, should always keep a dark pair with you for direct sunlight days. These also make instructors life easy because we can see where the student is looking as well. A great purchase and they are one of my goggles in my collection as well. They fit over my helmet, a bit snug, I wear a medium helmet but they do fit. Hope this helps, any questions let me know.

I love the lens
I love the lens. It is perfect for any weather. I wore the goggles on a sunny day and they offered good protection. They are definitely great in flat light and make everything look so sharp. It took me some time to get used to how the goggles fit on my face. Felt weird on my nose. Not exactly squeezing it but kind of falling too low. What I didn't like about the goggles is that they don't fit that well on my helmet. I have to have the strap fully extended and the plastic part falls right in the middle of the back where the clip for the goggles is on the helmet. So I need to have them slightly to one side which is a bit annoying. It doesn't bother me too much as the straps have sticky lines that keep the goggles in place so they don't sit crooked on my face. Overall, the goggles offer great protection form cold, improve my vision in all conditions and are a great product for the prize.

Wore this bad boy out on the slopes today
I bought the Matte Black frame that came with two lenses: HI Yellow and Dark Grey. Wore this bad boy out on the slopes today; the goggles are super clear, light, and never fogged up once. They have a large field of view, definitely didn't have tunnel vision at all. Having two lenses was super nice, as when I started (around 3PM), it was bluebird conditions. The Dark Grey Lens was money; took away all the glare from the sun. As soon as the sun went down, I popped in the HI Yellow Lens, which worked great for night skiing. Really helped me see the contours in the slopes. Only negatives are the strap is barely big enough for over-helmet usage (was a little tight) and it takes awhile to change the lenses. Would definitely recommend for somebody looking for a really good pair of relatively cheap goggles!

decent snow googles even with glasses
good protection.persimmons is a general all purpose type for somewhat cloudy days. on very bright days you may need something darker but i'm still ok using it on bright days. I'm just a casual skier though.the price was good this year on discount.oakley is a solid highly reliable brand in optics.I wear glasses just over 5" wide across the rim and these fit snug over them. i would actually prefer them not so snug but if i had too, i could use these with my glasses without too much troublethe foam is a bit higher quality than the dirt cheap snow goggles

My ski racer daughter has wanted Oakley goggles for ages ...
My ski racer daughter has wanted Oakley goggles for ages and we bought them for her birthday a few days ago. I will update the review if there are any issues with the goggles themselves. My main gripe and the reason for the 4 stars is with the color of the visor. On the photo, the visor looks a bright violet color - which we wanted. In real life, you can't see the violet color well at all. The photo is misleading, so just be aware of it.

Great brand for a great price! Great goggles for the novice/amateur snowboarder.
I loved these goggles! I go snowboarding maybe 4-5 times a year and just needed something good quality for a reasonable price because I will keep them for many seasons before replacing and I was really happy with these. They were comfortable, did not fog, and an overall great value for as often as I use them.

Haven't hit the slopes yet so can't comment on if they fog or not but so far happy with my purchase
Got these because they were on sale. The goggles are the blue/white ones despite after ordering them, they show an olive/camo color in your order history. Definitely get these with a lens for sunny days as you can then pick up a permission lens for $5 addon if you just search for it on Amazon. These fit well, even if you usually get asian fit. Also meshes perfectly with Smith Optics Aspect helmet. Haven't hit the slopes yet so can't comment on if they fog or not but so far happy with my purchase.

Great goggles, well worth the extra for snow enthusiasts.
I was a little skeptical at first about what paying a large amount extra on goggles could really get me in terms of quality, but boy was I wrong. I bought these to replace some darker/cheaper goggles and haven't looked back since. The sheer comfort and feeling of build quality in this product are great. Cloudy days are no longer a problem, the lenses are crystal clear on sunny days, in trees or when the storm clouds roll in, so I was never surprised by a bump hidden by my previous goggles. My only issue with these was that they kept wanting to slide off my helmet, as there was no gripping material round the sides of the strap, so they tended to slide upwards and ping off if I wanted to have them resting on my helmet.

Excellent goggles
These goggles were excellent. I really sweat when I ski so I needed a new pair of goggles as my old ones always fogged up or had very bad condensation. I used these for a whole week and I didn't have to take them off to wipe the inside once. They stayed completely clear and the orange tint is excellent for seeing ahead in the snow. They are quite big on the face but that helps give an excellent field of vision.

Great for all conditions
Great fit (over helmet) and comfy against the face.Lens is perfect in most conditions. Had one day of total whiteout where contours became invisible, but that's likely to have been the case with any other lens.Good brand at a great price.

Brilliant product
I bought these goggles for my trip to Austria in January. They were delivered quickly by courier and arrived in ok condition (box was a little beaten up).The goggles themselves are absolutely excellent, they didn't steam up at all even when I was hitting it really hard and they managed to take quite a bit of punishment in the park/pipe without budging from my head.My only gripe is that the strap isn't the longest, I have a medium size helmet and I had to have the strap fully extended to make the goggles fit over it which was occasionally uncomfortable.Awesome goggles though, well worth the money.
