Have used for 1 year, buying second set. Recommend
I'm one year in on my first set of WaterDrop filters (chlorine + flouride), and I've loved them. Great taste, and what I like the most is that the carbon filters never clogged. I never needed to clean them. Just ordered another set. I recommend!

A great filter. Gravety feed so it's operable even without power.
High quality, efficient filters. Be sure to purchase the metals filters too. They're worth every penny filtering chlorine and fluoride.

Defective
I orderd the full Water Drop filtration container unit a year ago. I use it OFTEN and the water filters came apart from their bases..... I figured that it had been too long so I ordered these replacement filters. ( I should have read through the comments here first) The instructions that came in the package leave out a few steps so I found the Waterdrop YouTube Channel and watched how to assemble a new unit. The pictures on this listing and the instructions in the official WaterDrop Video differ. Does the black gasket go over the hole in the upper chamber before putting the water filter through, or over the hole in the bottom chamber before screwing the PF2 filter on? The YouTube video says it goes on the bottom before the PF2 filter is installed, but the pictures here in this listing show it before the water filter is installed, which is how I have done it for the past year....... ????? I need to know. the correct way

Very excited I can use my Berkey again without the overly HIGH cost of Berkey filters.
We were pretty excited to finally be able to use our Berkey again. The ratings and cost were better than the overpriced Berkey filters, which do not even have the NSF lab testing. My son was attaching the filters when he noticed the part that was screwed on had a crack, he tried to screw it on carefully but it did crack off a bit. It still works and I didn't want to give up my filters even for a second. I did decide to call the Waterdrop company to let them know what happened, not sure what they could do. Peter phoned me back and stated he would replace the filter for me. Whoa, old-fashioned customer support in 2024, how awesome. For those of you who have your Berkey filters in storage, as we did due to the high cost and lack of proper lab testing, these filters do fit perfectly and you will finally have safe water to drink.

Tastes so much better, but…
Even though the TDS barely budged and it basically runs right through the filter /: we do think the water tastes soo much more clean, crisp, less drying in our mouth, and much more refreshing. However, lol… I’ve read “TDS readings won’t change after carbon filtration because a TDS reading includes the beneficial minerals a carbon filter like this is letting pass through, but doesn’t include the harmful toxins that a carbon filter is filtering…” but many toxins that these filters claim to filter ARE soluble (fluoride, nickel, aluminum, lead, tin, mercury, etc) and if they’re being filtered, it should reflect a lower TDS reading. I definitely don’t think “0” TDS is the goal and using distilled/evaporated water would be another step to leaving more solids behind… but you spend good money on a carbon filter that’s supposed to work via adsorption: it needs contact time to efficiently filter toxins and the more contact time, the more efficient filtration. So this flow rate is questionable too because it’s so fast the toxins aren’t getting the contact time needed to be trapped and adhere to the carbon. Ideally, who wouldn’t want to send a sample to a lab to know exactly what’s in it! We just cant swing that and the reviews online made us skeptical of the home kits too. Maybe it’s removing the chlorine since it smells and tastes great, but the flow rate and TDS reading are definitely worth knowing about.
