With the top button buttoned, it’s good for a deflated, slouched posture. It hangs naturally like that. With an upright posture, it spreads awkwardly. I thought it was an issue with the fit, but with only the bottom buttoned, it allows the chest and shoulders to spread and looks much more approachable.I suppose this makes it a dual-purpose jacket, one button default and two buttons for solemn. It fits me well in my usual size. The material drapes nicely, and it’s not a total dog hair magnet. It’s a thin weave with a standard lining. It picks up a few hairs, but not too many, it’s manageable with a roller. Once I figured out the buttons, I like it. It’s a simple jacket that goes great with a white shirt and dark pants. The tailoring is good, clean stitches, straight lines. The pockets are standard suit pockets, nothing special there. The flap tucks in on the front to make it easy to use. It’s a light weight that is comfortable indoors.

Great jacket

The Perry Ellis regular fit suit jacket is a very nice and very well made classic jacket. The sleeves are a bit long so if you've got a long reach, this jacket is a great choice. Hubby says it's a comfortable jacket and, except for the long sleeves, it fits him true to size. Nice looking jacket and a great one to add to the wardrobe!

This is a well made and good looking jacket. It has nice stylish lines and the material is soft and comfortable. The product listing describes this as a "suit" jacket. I'm not sure that is accurate since there are no matching pants available. I consider it a sports jacket. I would have preferred the more traditional silver metal buttons that usually distinguish a sports jacket. But it's fine as is if matched with a pair of contrasting color slacks. The description says it is a regular fit, but I found it to be a little more of an athletic fit. Order size appropriately.

This item is exactly true to size. I got a 40R and it's precisely like all my other 40R suit jackets. The cut is very flattering and stylish. Classic, but also on the slim side. It's a poly blend, so it's a bit stretchy, which helps with the athletic cut - it can be slimmer and still not feel confining due to the stretch. Even though it's all poly, viscose and elastaine, it still feels like quality fabric. Not cheap feeling at all - a good deal for the price.

I ordered this charcoal grey suit jacket for my spouse to add to his work wardrobe. This color and style will look great with black slacks or a nicer pair of jeans. The fit is TTS. I will not have to take it to the tailor to get adjusted which is also a bonus. The jacket did arrive with some folds/wrinkles in it just due to shipping so be prepared to steam them out or have the jacket dry cleaned. There were no chemical smells which was nice too. Great find, good value.

The jacket fits well. I like the look and feel of it. It came balled up so I'll need to take it to the cleaners for a nice professional ironing. What I like about the jacket is that it fit my frame. Im more of a sports fit so Ill be getting this tailored. There is a bit of room in the chest area. I like it to fit more tight. The design of the jacket meets my quality for style. The color is more of a dark ash gray. I gave it four starts because they could've packaged the jacket better to eliminate much of the wrinkles.
